Well, they really had no option, the others teams did the same (mix their names) and they were the last ones, so YiZhan was born. 😁 In fact they also created WangXiao 🤣 XiaoZhan wrote and mixed their family names together by accident.

@@laetitialarrivee8458 Just like in real life, away from their industry, ppl chat through phones and messenger. You don't have to be seen in public with someone to say you're friends. My oldest friend and I live on different coasts of the US and I haven't seen her in going on 4 years now? Doesn't mean we're not friends. We chat through social media and texts; not even regularly. We can go many months without speaking; our friendship hasn't suffered a lick. Just because ppl aren't sharing every aspect of their lives publicly doesn't dissolve a friendship. That's why I think they're still friends. Do I think they're besties? No. They don't have that much in common. Nothing wrong with that. You also have to take their insanely busy schedules into account. Not to mention they can't breathe without it being turned into something it's not or misinterpreted. Eventually when they both have established their own careers, it would be great if they shared the screen together in a different genre like a psychological thriller or something. Just because when ppl work well together on set, it's best to repeat that as opposed to folks that don't get along. And nice to see a fellow multi fan. We're the endangered species as there aren't many of us and we're apparently spread all over social media lol. I'm a fan of them and a bunch of other ppl too. 🙂

They claimed they are both fans and respect both of them but never in my life I encountered people who really support them said something so pessimistic as they are not friends anymore or talk as if they know xz and wyb better. This pattern is that brainwashing method I've always encontered. Their only aim is to make people who wholeheartedly support both xz and wyb confused and then taking sides and agree with them. They think I don't know or I don't remember what they said in other channels.

I read some fan fiction story about them and I was really moved and in loved with this two characters... but suddenly I came to know that they really exist and have a real drama named untamed...😂😂😂 So its very important for me to know if the chemistry between two is really what I read in the story or it was just fanfict.. I really don't want to disappoint myself by watching the series😂😂😂😂

@@mohammadfaisal5240 There is a novel called "Módao Zushi" which is explicitly BL. It has a live adaptation called "The Untamed" which is BL too. No female lead. But it is heavily censored so they kinda call each other soulmates and make heart eyes all the show. It's a happy ending😉. The main attraction is thier story. There's a reason i don't even remember the names of other dramas i watched 2 years ago. While here i am still trying to get over the untamed. It's the sort of drama you can divide your life by: before untamed, after untamed. You'll never be the same again lol. If you have any more questions, just ask me :)

You never know what the future holds. I like that girl (since pd101) and I believe she is close to them but she didn't say anything in particular. She just had a normal (one of many) photo of them standing together on the wall. We shouldn't be reckless and makeup things because it could harm them. Bright win came out the same time as the untamed but still have lots of shippers,heck even advance bravely, addicted, guardians still have shippers. @@mehak3646 if you watch any of the bts of untamed you can see that they had/have a really good connection and friendship. For over a year now they don't publicly interact. It happened bc of an incident (227), bc of fan wars, and probably other factors we don't know about. The 227 incident happened bc a person posted a bl story about Yibo and XZ on a fanfic site called AO3. Xaio Zhan's character was controversial and his fans reported it and the site got taken down on Feb. 27 (227). That pissed off tons of ppl, most who didn't know either actor, and they started this huge boycott against XZ bc his fans reported it. The rest is messy bc now there's tons of conspiracy theories out there (blaming Yibo), fans of various groups fighting, etc. All I can say is XZ is not at fault for 227 happening and Yibo for sure is not to blame. And no one can say for sure if they're still friends or not.

@@majesty6254 Wang Yibo and Xiao Zhan are very good friends through DDU and acting the Untamed and several common interestd, but due to anti fans (And probably their workloads too) but mostly through antis and haters, we do not see their interactions any more which is extremely sad. I just want them to be happy in whatever they do💚❤️

Hi there I saw the whole episode too. XZ turned up with his charm and smiles-he really does brighten up the mood around yibo. I did notice however that yibo looked pretty ticked off in this episode, like something was bothering him.

XZ also suggested "yi zhan" as part of his 4 person team name during an episode of "Our Song" in late 2019/early 2020. (The "Yi" in this case being from one of his teammates, Jiang Yiqiao)

It was not an invent of DD alone. First, the program required the teams (conformed by one member of DDU and his friend) to name it after mixing their names (the others teams also did it) and second, there are some videos where you can see Yibo and Zhan discussing this topic. If you see when Yibo say "YiZhan" Zhan was not surprised, he even nod when HangGe repeated the name.
