Sorry, there's a mistake in the subs. At 3:10 Hosoya says that he had surgery (on his throat), that's why it's scary - because he's afraid of irreparably damaging his vocal chords again. It's honestly a miracle he's still voice acting bc his first surgery failed and second one had a high risk of failure. Fortunately it all worked out. For now...

Thank you for pointing this out 😊 I thought when he said オッペしたじゃないですか he was using the slang expression. I wasn't aware of this back story so I simply translated what (I was able to) I hear. Thank you again, I'm sure this is helpful for everyone watching 🙏🏾

@@naufalalbari people expected the reason of Hosoya didn't want to get back to AOT recording place is because something dramatic (like maybe Reiner's story is depressing etc) but the fact is that it's just because there are many screaming dialogues which are tiring so he didn't like to go back to recording for AOT😂

The fact the seiyuus are SO comitted to their roles to the point that their mental health gets affected by it it's sooo admirable. I'm incredibly thankful to the casting of this VAs because they're perfect for their respective roles. Their passion to remain true to the chracters they portray is on another level. Thank YOU as well for so many amazon, insightful translations.

No I mean that's AoT for ya. It's not just cast but I'm sure most of the viewers would also have a hard time watching AoT (with the outrage on AoT manga ending, you'd know why). I'm especially having a hard time being in the fandom tbh

And during the event you talked about, it was worse. I'm really hoping we don't get an ending situation 2.0 in tha fandom when the anime ends...

Hosoya is making me feel happy just looking at him. The way he talks and is so considerate of others but still needs to get his opinion out and ahhh. I'm so glad he's doing better. Cause his throat was not ok at one point and he was really sick.

I wouldnt say Hosoya is the complete opposite of Reiner. If Reiner wasnt depressed his usual self was a lively guy. He smiles a lot, and is pretty cheerful joking around. Hosoya is kind of the same but also a very strange guy . Love him lots 💞🤭
