I love that Jamie pronounces fiancé and fiancée ever so slightly differently. It's the 1,000,000th adorable thing about him. No wonder he's 6'1". You couldn't fit all that adorable in a shorter frame.

Regarding getting married on a weekday - I got married on a Monday, worked out awesomely (bonus: Most places are cheaper) and everyone effectively got a 4 day weekend out of it! Congrats x

Okay i just discovered Jamie literally yesterday and i have been trying to think who I think he looks like. It wasn’t until Shaaba mentioned his family was of Scottish descent that it finally clicked that he looks like David Tennant

Congratulations to you too!! Ive been to a wedding on a non - weekday. The only downside to it was that the guest count was significantly low because people had to go to work and school and the couple was left with alot of food left over

Arf! Such adorable cuties. Were it not for the fact that I've had a horrific history with relationships, I'd say that this was like relationship goal territory for me. But you both should be for others. Far too often, I'm presented with horror stories about people that transition in relationships, that seeing how gentle and loving both of you are to one another is... well it's beautiful. Keep on keeping on. Also, one day, I'd love to hear how you both came up with true to me and more about it.
I think the reason people don't get married on weekdays is because most people can't get off work for it :( even if you don't start til 6, a lot of people can't get there on time

My aunt had a wedding on a Wednesday. It might be weird and hard to work around guests working schedule! But 99% of the people made it to their wedding! Congratulations, you guys deserve the best!!!
My husband and I got married on a tuesday (at the courthouse) and thursday (our ceremony, reception & party) in May this year. It was perfect for us because we had the venue for ourselves (not to mention that all service provider were available and offered us better prices). We we sure that the guests wouldn't mind taking a day off for our special day, especially the ones who really care about us and that's exactely what happened. In the end it is your special day and you should do whatever you guys like :)

I'd go with whatever number you want. I'm a HUGE numbers person (favorite is 17) and got married on a Sunday because it was a number I liked. 😉 Do you... I’ve been hearing more and more about weddings not happening on a weekend or a Friday, so I think you’re fine there (my spouse and I actually got married on a Wednesday, because it was our 10th anniversary, but we eloped so I don’t think that counts lol). My parents and most of my aunties/uncles got married on weekdays, weekday weddings are perfectly normal (but if people need to take a day off work, make sure they take the day after off too!
A friend of mine actually had a wedding sort of like the zombie one you mentioned! It was on Halloween and everyone came to the reception in costume and the bride & groom came all bloodied up and their cakes were made in their likeness (if they were severed heads)
