"Engelbert Schmid 64" is a line of recordings -videos and audios - which Engelbert Schmid recorded in 2019 at the age of 64, after 25 years of break in playing the horn, i. e. without real practising at all.
The audio of this hunting choir was recorded at September 20th 2019 in Engelbert Schmids concert hall "Mindelsaal". In the afternoon of the same day the video was recorded in the park of Engelbert Schmids little castle in Mindelzell. Some of the garden views were done by Engelbert Schmid himself in the 2 following weeks at best light of the day.
Its an arrangement by Engelbert Schmid for 5 horns, which enables the 1st horn player to breath sometimes, and so to concentrate on a solid and rich ff-sound.
