Engine Code Location on BMW N55, F Chassis

The engine serial # is that long number right above the engine code. Boom! I got you maaan!

It's a serial number.

My car does have the EWG. I'm not sure on why it's a B30A vice the B30o0? I did some research when I made this video and came up with nothing.

@@TheWrenchLab im going to check out a m2 n55 on the weekend and see what code that is. my m135i is a ewg and its also a n55b30A wtf?

@@greeked Christopher, I knew it's the same motor as the first M2's... Different tune obviously. But trying to find out what the differences are from the 30A and 30o0 was ethe roadblock I hit. Thanks for confirming that they are the same engine code though! 👍

@@TheWrenchLab might find n55b30a refers to the actual block itself only as a PWG car i have just confirmed has the same code, but i cant find a source to confirm this.
