Thanks! The only tell in the video really is when I start faster and more deliberate motions with my head. Additionally, one of the departing aircraft pilots (which you catch a glimpse of in the video) decided to wait and talk to me afterwards because he "could tell something was wrong" from my position calls on frequency.

I fully agree. For those of us viewers who fly similar aircraft the sounds of loss of engine and the wind sounds are far more natural. If I had music in my headphones when my engine quit I would probably kill the music immediately. I know you weren't hearing music but I would have liked to hear what you were hearing. I've got over 300 hours in powered aircraft and have never had an engine failure.......................yet. I have flown various aircraft with the power at idle but not dead.

The wind noise produced very loud static noise that completely drowned out the engine noise, or lack thereof, so it was necessary to replace it. Are you also a Young Eagles Officer for the EAA as I am? If so, I will dig up your chapter contact info and look you up.

I agree hate it when people do that i would rather here the real noise as this crap
