Weedhopper ultralight: Windy afternoon flight 

I’ve always wanted one since they first got popular. The best I could do was hang gliding. Which I loved!

I remember seeing one of these at an airshow, back in the early 90s. Very cool plane.

What would you say is windspeed Max that you would fly in? You seem to handle gusty wind better than me. I'm a chicken over 6 mph with only 1 hr flight time.

Miss the strum of the throaty old Chotia. I've replaced mine with a SCREAMING Rotax.

Do these things really require so much stick wiggling? As a pilot, I am amazed at what he was doing!

Could think of alot of other things I would rather not do. This isn't one of em. Looks fun! How much does one cost? And what training is involved to solo one? Used to fly spam can Cessna's. But that was years ago. Powered hang glider Ragallo wing?

When is Kansas not windy? Usually Morning and Evening.
