Again, a great video! How is the carbon buildup of the intake valves? I was thinking of walnut blasting the intake of my F20 118i currently at 193tkm. Looking forward to your valve stem seals replacement video, my F20 consumes 1L per 7k so I'm ok but I like preventive maintenance.

Did you have any codes suggesting that you need to clean the injectors. My engine seems to start rough and idles inconsistently after starting it (warm). Timing chain has just been done.

I've been through the same path as you over the last year with a 2012 116i, which is at 120k km - started with the chain, then valve stem seals (oil consumption decreased from 1L/1000km to about 120mL/1000km) and Vanos solenoids cleaning. Now the engine vibration at idle is left to cure ... Tell me please, did such cleaning help to reduce the vibration? Or are the injectors still contaminated internally, so have to look at replacements or ultrasonic cleaning. I would be interested to know also about how much carbon buildup you saw on the intake valves. Many thanks!
hello, I'm a subscriber from Brazil, I have a f20 116i n13 engine, with this shaking problem and rough start on cold start, when the car is on working temperature, if I turn it of and right after turn on It doesn't show any problems, but if turn it off, and about 20/30 minutes after I turn it on the problem is back, it may be a leaking injector? ps: new spark plugs... I really appreciate if you help me, thank you!!!
