Engineering a MEGA FACTORY with absolutely no planning or organization... 

Gratz on becoming a dad. You're in for a ride. My son is almost 30 now so yeah. Also, as an old player of Satisfactory, this place hurts my head just looking at it. I feel really bad for any of your audience that happen to be logisticians as this would be a complete nightmare. Sorting through the nine layers of Hell would be less of an arduous task than figuring this (whatever this is) out. LOL

I am only just about to start this but I gotta already give Schmicheal a head pat for being a good editor (Still no food, sorry buddy that's RCEs job), I could imagine RCE and Satisfactory would be a hard one to keep track of and edit. :D

There are upgraded conveyer speeds. The reinforced beams are the latest ones you've unlocked. Without upgrading the conveyer belts you won't increase production much at all. Just a helpful tip!

Love the chaos! Quick couple of tips: when handcrafting items instead of holding LMB you can just press spacebar and go make a cup of tea and when building foundations, walls, ramps etc press R and you can Zoop them in a line, press R again for vertical building :)

'You cannot screw without a rod' - RCE 2023

While building foundations (and other things), press 'R' to change the mode to 'Zoop'. Now you can build up to 10 of any object at a time :)

Little Tip for Future Bridges: you can Change the building Mode while placing Foundations. There are several modes like single, vertical, horizontal. So you can build up to 10 Foundations at once

Hi matt, the direction your bridge is going is the edge of the map, where you will take damage and die if you go over. Literally any other direction and there's loads of map left to explore

Not sure if this has been brought up, but you can change you build mode of foundations to 'Zoop". It allows you to build 10 foundations at a time. Thanks for doing this series!

Man you can advance in satisfactory reallllly fast as long as you’re an ungodly spaghetti psychopath

It is painful seeing him not upgrade things (like the miners) in place, or building long bridges without using the "zoop".

Super fun and entertaining, you and shmikel are a dream team.😆 Makes me want to start a new playthrough. Here is a tip on how to build bridges faster: You see the little notification when you build, it says "build mode: Default". Change that up and you can build 10 pieces in a row with 2 clicks

27:11 you dont need to delete the miners to upgrade... just select the upgraded version and then place it over the current miner and it will replace it... same goes for electrical poles and belts. that way you dont have to replace belts

A good idea for a next episode would be one dedicated to untangling the mess that is your conveyor system.

Hey :) i have a few tips if you want. It will make a lot of things easier. #1 when building foundations press R to change build mode, you have zoop mode that can build up to 10 foundations at once horizontaly and vertical mode that can also do 10 foundations at once. #2 when deconstructing stuff hold left ctrl for mass deconstruction or press it to pick only the things you want to deconstruct, its up to 50 selected buildings. #3 when building buildings you can aligne them with others by pressing left ctrl thats why those green lines are for. And also if you want to build more factories press left ctrl when putting down first foundation and that will connect to the world grid (it will be easier to connect multiple factories over the map,the only diffrence will be height between them)#4 when inserting items to lets say example space elevator or taking from example storage hold left ctrl and click items you want and that will insert/take multiple stacks. Keep up with good work engineer :D

some advice for your hypertube setup: whenever you exit a hypertube you get a small speed boost. so if you place a series of very short hypertubes and then the main tube you want to travel, you will be MUCH faster. just make sure you have one of those green gel pads at the end. also, you can rotate the entrance and exit pieces to point at an angle, allowing for the creation of hypertube canons that can shoot you across the whole map, if you use the acceleration trick from above. though i advice you to not use those canon setups unless you have jetpacks or 100% full health, as the impact will absolutely kill you otherwise. and another warning, from what i remember from that acceleration setup, the speed boost is exponential to the speed you enter with, calculated for each step. in other words, you can actually crash the game just by building a ~30 hypertube accelerator setup. it's been too long for me to remember the exact numbers. i think 20 step setups are the limit of being useful and around 30 steps will crash the game. just try with 4 or 10 and see how far you get launched. (just empty your inventory first, just in case you die on impact)

I haven't even started this video yet... I am SUPER excited as I have been waiting for you to play Satisfactory for AGES, but after seeing your highway tornados, I expect the same to happen with conveyor belts.

Instead of deleting and replacing, you can directly select the upgraded version of anything and it will replace it directly

Have you ever seen a car wreck on the side of the road? Your heart sinks to your stomach, and you feel sick as you recognize what has happened and what it means. You know you shouldn't stare, but you can't peel your eyes away. That is how I felt at 16:18. I am harrowed. The forsaken earth before the ground of your grid knows no efficiency. (Hyperbole, of course. We've all been there, or somewhere close, at some point or another, and the fuse break sound only gets scarier the further into the game you get.)

Kibitz makes organized megafactories, as far as i know he is not nor ever was engineer. former real civil engineer makes conveyor spaghetti and uses concept of organised chaos to get things done. both are worth watching .... for different reasons.

while building with foundations you gotta press R once for zoom (to build foundations in horizontal way, up to 10 max in one go) or twice ( to build foundations vertical, also up to 10 max in one go). Other than that I love the way you're creating a spaghetti and still making it work XD

Me, who play hundreds of hours Satisfactory, played to the last milestone a few times, seeing this monstrousity he creates that he calles his base. I wish I could play like this again. I miss the uninitiated me, playing it just for fun. Now, I can't build without planning 5 milestones ahead.

tip: to build multiple fundations at once, youcan press R to enter zoop mode, it will allow you to place multiple fundations at a time (it works for most decoration things)

I'm shocked that nobody told you about "Zoop"-Mode. WHenever you're building walls or foundations just tap R to zoop up to 10 elements in a row.

I had no idea those manta ray things had collision. That unexpected ride was really cool.

Others have mentioned zoop, which will likely change your life forever. But you can also replace existing miners and belts with their upgraded types without dismantling them.

You know if you want to make a bride faster you can hit the R buttion in the build mode and use the zoop function. lets you put down ten tiles at once. heh. Also you can updrade the convaer belts and miner by having the upgrade in active build and just highlight over the exsiting one and it will replace with out you having to take out and rebuild.

with 120 coal you can run 8 generators using 3 water pumps, also let them all fill up before you turn them on to prevent them from not getting enough resources

When in Build Mode, press R to change to ZOOP mode. then make a line of whatever 10 pieces long (press R again to change to Vertical build mode) and R to change back to default, but basically I just live in ZOOP mode

So for my first big attempt i took foundations and filled in the wholw water fall area. Then put my space elevator in a pit with the whole map of resources funneled into the falls. Plus always put your slugs into power production

...Wow. I had the space elevator built before I built my first mining plant or constructor. (Old laptop, and the fans don't work and can't be replaced due to the part number apparently having been reassigned. My playstyle is big on having as little as possible going on at any moment.)

I was watching you place the bridge near the end and was curious. Do you know about switching the build mode to Zoop?
