This channel is titled Real Civil Engineer, and yet he wonders why his video "Where Does Rainwater Go?" where he basically info-dumps about his former civil engineering job, performed so well. To an outsider just coming across the channel, that type of more serious, informational content makes sense given the channel name. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the silly videos and the knob jokes, they're all still good fun and entertaining, but I and undoubtedly lots of other people would also enjoy the more seriously informational content. I'm glad that RCE occasionally does still upload some informative, engineering-related content, but I'm sure that the RU-vid algorithm prefers that he make gaming content since his is mainly a gaming-focused channel. But, on the other hand, I suppose that's all the more reason for him to promote his Patreon, which I do hope to be able to support for the sake of the video access once I have more disposable income.
