A few things to clarify Garden is an upgrade to a farm, it only reduces the time of making food A militia is an armed villager so it has better stats in combat, however the crafting time of all the resources decreases compared to a villager so only keep a couple of militia around Also BUILD MARKET it takes 60 seconds to sell the card but it doubles its value so if you sell a plank/brick in the market it will give you 10 coins
@@stevenhthe21st Yes, but he didnt try to buy stuff with the chest. He thought he has to take all the coins out every time he wants to buy stuff. Engineer if you read this: the only drawback the coinchest has is: it costs 1 cardspace.
So here is a tip for dealing with hostiles (specifically the boss) some of them will move toward villager cards no matter where they are so you can "cheat" the fight by moving your villagers to one side of the board to draw the enemy toward one side then move them to another side and you can kite the enemies around. I had to do this against the boss because I did not know what was coming. I engaged it with 3 swordsmen and they all died (bringing it to 1/2 health so much luck) and I used my sole remaining swordsman and my one villager to create a new baby while kiting the boss around until I had built up another 3 swordsmen and managed to beat it. Yeah that took a while...
Reminds me of when I played, I was not sure what was going on until the final boss had already spawned. Thankfully I have a nice amount of villagers and the ability to convert most of them and won the fight in the end!
The amount of times he has to sell cards because he doesn’t have enough sheds, says he will build more sheds and proceeds to not follow through is physically hurting me.
Yeah, not to talk about how behind he is because of the lack of knowledge how to create iron bars. On moon 20 he should be around Full Animal Pens, Warehouses and farms, with at least 2-4 swordmen for defense.
Few tips: garden lets you grow food faster than just soil. There is sth you haven't unlocked yet that is even faster. You might want to keep bones as they are useful - just think about how you can use them. Who likes bones? What animal? Producing meal is a good idea as they are more valuable in terms of coins and nutrition (also thanks to this there are less cards on the screen). You might want to create chest to store you coins, it helps you with the amount of coins cards visible on the screen. There are cards that are better/upgraded versions of other cards - gardens are superior to just soil, stoves are better than campfires etc.
This game is only a couple of bucks on Steam right now, and while it's only a couple of hours of gameplay so far, they're apparently planning a massive update with lots of extra cards. Totally worth the price as it is right now though!
the garden and the farm (later) act like the DIRT.. so you can grow apple trees and berry bushes... also build a coin chest to store up to 100 coins in 1 spot. wood or 2 and a coin.. or 2..
Feeding & Funding your village with no effort: 1> Build Animal Pen (or two if you want large # of villagers) 2> fill it with Chickens (breed more chickens if needed) 3> Place Stove (or Campfire if you don't have a stove) Near the Animal Pen 4> When first eggs appear, place them on Stove As long as all of the eggs do not completely cook before the next eggs spawn in, the new eggs should drop on top of the existing ones (already on stove), creating an infinite supply of food that requires no effort to farm or cook. If you find yourself with too many omelettes or eggs, just sell the extras
Bit of advice for later in the game: once you have the temple and the artifact, DO NOT perform the ritual. At least not until you have a powerful army. Trust me.
Make more sheds and make more gardens! Also, you need a lot of people the later u get into the game. Do not make a temple and do what it tells you till u have a lot of swordsmen.
warehouses are more efficient as long as he got iron, at the same time, you don't really need gardens if you got lotsa rabbits providing you with poop for growing crops
Hey RCE, love the videos thanks for introducing me to this game. Never a dull moment on your channel. If you want a tip for making money in the game: Buying the humble beginning pack, selling the raw materials and processing the rocks and trees give you the quickets method that I have found to accumulate money. Similar strategy for getting materials to build things needing stone, flint, sticks or logs (so everything). The only real reason youd need the lumbermill/quarry would be for the quest/to automate other processes perhaps.
Don't bother with sheds and gardens. Go straight into farms and warehouses, making metal should be your top priority at first. Also, militia are better at fighting but worse (slower) at everything else, so try to manage your population
Farm > Garden > Soil. They all do the same thing, just Garden is faster than soil, Farm is faster than Garden. Logic & Reason for your iron smelter. Read the card descriptions as you get them, save a bone. Bought the game today due to your last video. :) I already beat the game and 100% completed it (including all steam achievements). It's great. I won't tell you why to save the bone or anything, just that you need one.
This looks awesome! Did you just get hold of a Sokpop bundle? There's another game similar to this called Card Survival: Tropical Island. More of a hardcore survival game but similar card mechanics and lots of Engineering potential!

It can be hard as one needs only 3-4 hours to complete it with all the achievements unlocked. You know, I don;t think RCE wants to end this series that fast
Without spoiling too much, I have some tips the higher the number, the more spoily they are. Less spoily and more useful; poop is a one-time use soil. Tip 1: bones don't have an *apparent* use, but they are useful. Tip 2: Theres something that quite likes bones, what can you think of that likes bones? Tip 3: Woof.
The garden is slightly faster than soil, with another building being even faster. Also the fruit salad is great for it provides the same amount of food as the apple and berry for half the space
as the cards for both chickens and cows are Brown, you should be able to put a Brown Chicken onto a Brown Cow, maybe in a House, and make a BrownChickenBrownCow, which might accidentally produce a Baby, but otherwise just waste some time and effort
gardens/ farms are just faster soil, if you place a carrot, potato, mushroom, onion on soil that will duplicate the item as well, barriers and apples create bushes/ trees, the garden does the exact same thing but faster, and the farm does the exact same thing but faster as well, note that you cannot upgrade a garden into a farm, and both the garden/ farm take 1 soil each, so if you build gardens you wont be able to build farms until you get more soil
If you'd introduce this as a card game rce qas playing, I'd of watched it, of course, but wouldn't of expected much. But the devs have made a somewhat simple concept work rlly well, and as usual rce engineers the game in the most entertaining way!

Like all civilizations… agriculture is the base of anything… think you could really buy more earlier packs, unlock the farm and probably get more soil too. Once you solve the food situation, the rest is just mouse clicking.
Actually moon 15 means month 15, because do a cycle in 28 days a month approx, doesn't have sense use the moon the moon to keep the track of days, moon doesn't come out all nights jajajaja so until here my nerd comment I love yours videos fellow engineer, I'm environmental engineer

Same, beat it on my second attempt because at first I didn't realise you could pause. But the dev seems very active and wanting to improve the game, we'll see what comes next
if you need "money production" make a market, they will double the price you get in exchange to taking time to sell. if you have the time and the patience they are quite worth it. i found myself needing only one, but having two makes everything just "faster".
Anyone else catch the Ed, Edd and Eddy reference? PLANK! Does the coin chest hold your coins freeing up card space? Also I think iron ore, fire and person might make iron bars.
