cars of the 50's-70's.. I can tell at a glance..not so today.. no longer have that interest and hardly can tell one from another..the same has happened with locomotives. This series will help me identify what I'm seeing rolling along the tracks today. Thank you for sharing.
Corrections, U P has close to 800 SD40ACE'S and none of their SD70ACE-T4'S are in storage. They had computer upgrades but they are out pulling freight. I just retired from there.
I would’ve mentioned all the heritage units, but felt had I done so the video would’ve been long winded. However no denying 1996 is a stunner when it comes to its paint job. *chefs kiss* excited it is.
Oh another cool locomotive, is what I thought. Then I saw this clip: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-N3VjUp9oz8o.html which is a very heavy sand train lead by a consist of SD70Ace's with Distributed Power just starting out of a siding on a mountain pass in Colorado. The noise and smoke is incredible. Make sure you crank up the volume, it sounds like you're there...
