I quite enjoyed this. If you haven't seen this, don't base his performance on this interview. He really captures Morrissey's eccentricity and inner struggle as a teenager
I appreciate his honesty about such a casual approach. I’m amused at the stark contrast between having such casual feelings towards a realm for which so many people across the world place such an intense, heavy seriousness. He’s either genuinely unaware or afraid to peel back that onion layer. Either way, probably for the best.
@@BurtonRdForever the thing with Morrissey is that he doesn't have a proper Manchester accent anyway, and as I said, his voice, not necessarily his accent
I'm kinda amused by his general tone and and bluntness of his answers. Definitely no BS about being a fan of Morrissey, ha! He tiptoes the line between honest straight forwardness and "I'm just an actor playing a role" type of BS -- but I think it's the former. Or maybe I'm biased b/c it's Jack Lowden. Good luck to the American press looking for a hot sound bite!
I am in love with him he is so cute and I like his personality, I actually like everything about him, I am really suffering right now I can't handle all his attractiveness.
Scotts actually just have a weird sense of humor...he’s just being funny this whole interview. Also seems a bit bored...probably waiting for her to ask him the infamous “Harry Styles” question.
I'm not even a fan of The Smiths but still intrigued by the man called Morrissey. His social commentary on the same level as The Beatles and Squeeze has to be admired and noticed. Miserable sod as he is. Look forward to the film
"i don't know, i just sort of turned up and did my lines" ... well, isn't that typical of an actor to not care about anything else other than his own narrow part in the project
This actor sucks, why did he even get the job?? He did absolutely no research, isnt a big Smith's fan and doesnt seem to even care about the film, no wonder he gave such a dull performance.
