Walker is not a good fit playing with Saka. Rather than pass the ball and move into position, he dribbles the ball to Saka then pass which clouds the space. Too many people holding up the ball plus the back line can’t play a forward pass for the life of it

Saka’s goal 2 games ago and Foden’s own goal yesterday were both chalked off because Foden couldn’t hold his run, That’s not on Southgate 😂 Also, Foden played as a lw for 10 years 😂 only got a run in the middle when Silva/KDB were injured for the last 18 months. We can't string 2 forward passes together, we pass it sideways at the back and the moment we try to go forward we make a sloppy pass and lose the ball. Whereas the opponent takes 4 passes and have an attempt on our goal. What is going on.

"As much or even more talent than Spain"...?! Really?! This is not a dig, but maybe this is the problem with Premier League fans. It may be the most competitive league (from positions #2-#20, of course), but much of its attraction (and global interest) is due to international players and managers. Very few English players are world class, but many teams don't have many either. Thus they get good managers to create good plans according to the talent available. England always seems to think so highly of its players, and assume that chucking them together will get good results and play. And having a bad manager only exacerbates that issue. It's no coincidence that England starting 11s always seem to be unbalanced.

Foden went against a 38 year old right back, he cowered away from shoulder to shoulder or any physical battle. No one is talking about that? Rice has been shit, Jude hasn't been great, Foden hasn't worked, Walker looks his age, Saka not himself, Kane is a passenger but TAA is now done, left to the side coz Southgates a 🐈. He's not even trusted to come on for some of these players now

A decent manager : 1. would see Foden for city is a completely diff player for England who dont play the system that works for him, you either play him in a position (CAM) that works, or bench him 2. Kane was dog s*** for the first 2 games, should have started Toney or Watkins to see what they offer in the 3rd game (especially when he knew they were guaranteed qualification) 3. You played 2 tournaments where you relied on fast pace wingers that completed Kane, dropping deap (rashford especially) , so far the left with Foden (who isnt quick and isnt going to run in behind) isnt working, so maybe trying the closest alternative in Gordon? It is a shame that we are wasting another generation under a useless manager, loads of questions need to be raised about the manager & especially the FA, clearly a bunch of dinosaurs who arent suited for the modern game.
