Is he related to Gary Southgate, either directly or via marriage? This literally makes no sense to me. And folks wonder why they haven't brought home a real Trophy since 1966!
Uh penalties really aren't that hard technically. Most boring way to win a match really because instead of having chances to prove your skill it's a one off hoping the striker messes it up. Penalties should never be called stunning it devalues the word "stunning". Also kinda a bs penalty also also Kane is shjtty just like werner but germany still do better.
There’s no change you don’t put Kimmich in there. Musiala goretzka at DM would be a waste of musiala and not defensive enough. Gundugan Kimmich is basically perfect, hard to complain. If anything, Sané Havertz musiala in attack would make sense but gnabry has been poor recently to deserve to start
@@mcepic4732 I think what he meant is: Kimmich Gortzka and Gundogan in the center midfielder, Musiala on right wing Sane left wing and Harvetz as striker.
I really hope the change in managers helps Chelsea figure out how to attack again. The amount of Chelsea players that looked solid in this match gives me hope.
Yep, but exactly for the poor results in the previous matches, both teams and their coaches were with their backs to the wall. You could grab the relief when they embraced in the end, a draw here is a respectable result.
The German one is pretty slick. Don't really like the English one though. Most of the kits in the WC are hot garbage. Germany and Mexico have the best.
England just don’t look psychologically ready for a strong World Cup bid. Maguire lost his chance to regain any trust. Other the other hand, Germany is looking very clinical up top, and Musaila could have an exciting tournament.
England missed on a great talent in musiala. I can only imagine how good our midfield would be with him alongside Bellingham and sterling in infront of them.
Ben White in for Maguire and Ramsdale in for Pope....? I'm a neutral but those are the changes that I feel would make England more solid at the back. Getting those pinpoint Ramsdale side volleys up to Kane and Saka for a quick counter might lead to some dangerous situations for opponents who like to press high. If not White then someone at least give Maguire a rope ladder and teach him some back stepping patterns to practice every day. Seriously it looks like he's just got massive problems keeping his feet coordinated while back peddling. Pretty essential skill for a center back.
@@Meller571 Pure shot saving.. yes, but best all around... I'd challenge that, especially bc of the way modern goalkeeping is developing. Ramsdale's progressive passing accuracy is off the charts. Depends on the system you want to play.
Key takeaways: 1. Jude Bellingham has to start for WC. His box to box play and technical contributions are unmatched. Just look on England's first goal, where he got the ball from the center backs, progressed and gave it to reece, then was back in the box again to challenge the ball. 2. Maguire needs to go. Don't know if there's team politics with Manchester United but any Tomori, or even Dier, would be much better. Cost England the 1st goal with the pen and 2nd one by losing the ball in midfield. Don't know if he would be better playing off as the center center back, but he cannot match the intesity and quality england need. 3. Players out of position is wack af, not every winger can play wingback at the same level. Our shaw and james played well but I'd like to see trent in action. 4. Announce Mark Goldbridge

He scored a penalty chill out. Every player from 12 yards with just the keeper and time should score. It's easier than a free throw in basketball for curry.
That first goal for England was not behind the line, the one against Neuer in 2010 wasn't either. It's always nice to see Maguire and Pope, they were the men of the match for Germany and will ensure England's quick exit from the World Cup.
saka changed the game but still needs to improve his finishing and be more clinical. maguire is so bad. pope has missed his chance. its between pickford and ramsdale.
