Ironic to still hear the Irish bleat on about Bracken, whilst conveniently forgetting that Simon Geoghegan was born in Knebworth England. Just one of the many “Irish” players that did.
@@tonkerdog1 Where was his father from? His surname should tip you off. Geoghegan was known during his career for having a short temper and on several occasions confronted members of the Irish team and management over their poor standards. Does that sound like someone who didn’t consider themselves Irish to some extent? Ah, you clearly know better than the person concerned. I’ll refer you to a quote from Daniel O’Connell concerning the Irish-born Duke of Wellington : “Being born in a stable does not make one a horse”.
@@TheLastAngryMan01 His father was Galway born, but also spent most of his life in England. Just like Simon who’d spent all his life in England, like his English born mother. Anyway, it’s up to him. But not Bracken I’m guessing
