i honestly think the english team tried; but unfortunately for them it wasnt enough to beat PNG. Emphasis on the "TRIED". They were outplayed, despite GBL having a good amount of amazing players PNG was just the better TEAM on the day. well done, we're proud of our kumuls.
Its only Justin Olam an active NRL player for 2019, all bunch of players are QRL players and handful of UK third and second division players but you all showed courage and determination in wining this game with confidence ... regardless of the built and size , you did it and soon Kangaroos will be in for a big surprise. Just like Togans but let say all our QRL players will do likewise. Thanks
That Fiji match could have been won if PNG had made good use of the footy in the first minutes of the first half. They actually played well but too many unnecessary penalties. So let's not blame the ref.
Sad to see Tonga beating Aussies. Settle down, rugby league will soon be dominated by Pacific Islanders. PNG will dominate, wait till we have a few players in NRL. This is the beginning, look at Tonga. Australia went down to Tonga, with Tonga having all NRL players in the team.
Queensland RL is second tier to NRL. With the Hunters playing against quality opponents all the time. It only makes players become more competitive. Then again you have NRL contracted players plus dropped players , all playing in Q cup so the level I guess it's high.
I reckon the best international side at the moment is Tonga, second would be Australia, third would be New Zealand and forth PNG. Every player on the pitch is an England player so they would rank 5 fifth for me.
If every pacific islanders in overseas play for their little nation jerseys and family Australia and England will lost even new Zealand history already done
John Chester true. The Cook Islands are already on their way and will have a few games next year. Now it’s time for Vanuatu, Solomon Islands and Niue. Cameron Smith is going down to Vanuatu today, hopefully he inspires some kids to go and play league
