previous two encounters PNG had our number but this time with the big win over samoa took that momentum and carried it through to this game but png as usual a really tough side to beat ,boys had to dig deep to come out with the win ,well done PNG good effort

Kumuls that was brilliant. Its just 2 points loss but the fact is you all were tight and supported each other to the end and never said die. Bond em stap pinis. Like I said its only 2 points wasn't a massive defeat you guys made us proud.

Muruka...l bet size does play a role in the Batis win here..3 of the tries scored through strength and size(No.10,11,12)...The Batis caught the Kumuls this time by using the big men to rumble through the middle of the park..If the Batis are using size to its advantage, then so be it..

PNG Forwards not enough running fire power. Every opportunity was there but some role players can't play smart to avoid those silly errors. Boas and Edene showed much heart for the game. No excuse what so ever for Kumuls to move forward.
@@-rr-4172 another aspect of this game is the size difference . PNG forwards fail to gain metres in the last quarters of the game. The backline had to do all the work for them. I think this is why most players from PNG (especially the forwards)are not considered for nrl. Backline players also need to step up a little bit more in order to be considered coz competitions for backline positions is very high in the nrl. They mostly pick big, tall & fast wingers (eg. Sivo, Ravalawa, Tupou , Saab, Addo-carr, .etc). PNG recruiters need to consider size also in the future if they want PNG players in the nrl. Consider digging deep into the highlands coz i know there are big, tall blokes up there.
Overall, PNG is better side - ref made unnecessary call in Ipape pass to Gabbie and one try disallow by Olam, next time such amateurs should be called up to ref international match, he has a lot to improve
Oh yeah..how is that going to help the game? In rugby whatever the decisions of the ref whether its good or bad we just have to accept it. That is the spirit of the game. Don't bring that stone age mentality. I know in png always wanted to fight the ref if its doesn't goes their way. If you guys are so expert in league why don't you apply to be a refree. Let see if you can do a better job and become a perfect human being.
PNG definitely won this game: there is no offside evidence from video referees and it was clear,and the on-field referees says no try while the try was scored right in-front of him? This is very very unfair.
This referee is an embarrassment. The three horoble on field decision based on stupid misjudgement made PNG lost. He's apparently too Cocky and novice.' He shouldn't be refereeing.
