Thank you so much for this testing video. It's both useful and entertaining. Next time could you also test the dishwasher, the clothes iron and the lawn mower?
My energy plan has daytime and nighttime tariff. I normally will set timer to do “energy demanding” tasks before 7:30am (when daytime tariff kicks off) Say, boiling water, laundry.
Excellent video. IMHO, it would be even better to record the total energy (kWh) being used for those devices with variable power consumption, for example, washing machine, in the unit of kWh per each wash/use
I am surprised you did not test air conditioning, heater and water heater. May be you will do a chapter 2 to include these ? I think a lot of people are keen to know.
At the end of the day, how long do you use those appliances? Computer, heater, hot water system, washing machine....cost more because of longer time consumption....
Kettle is not alot, e.g. 2200w -3000w kettle, only take around 3 mins to boil. I guess 69W , may actually the standby-mode of TV / HiFi. Price shown ( Pound per Hour ).
Thanks for the testing… but i have waited the advertisement playing for 8 minutes for the first ad, is it something you set, can you set something shorter or automatically skipped after 5 sec? I don’t have the remote nearby, and even worse after waiting for 8 min, it still play for second advertisement!!!!
