Loved your video & thank you. Here in USA, some used "loud" as in "You are loud" meaning that person has a " big mouth" ( used of vulgar words or profanities ). GOD BLESS!
She's my legit teacher when it comes to English.
Impressive presentation and contents !
The topic was delivered smoothly. Thank you foe giving a little background on the word"loud" and why it's not correct to use it in that sentence. Thank you for giving alternative ways of saying the correct sentence.
Heheheh
Mam... Sana po pag bigyan moko ... Ano pong English ng •PAPUNTA KAPA LANG, PABALIK NAKO. •KUMUKULO ANG DUGO KO SAYO. •MAGBIRO KA NA SA LASING, WAG LANG SA BAGONG GISING. wait kona lang po mam, at saka pa shout out .. thank you
Thank you so much, Ma'am Myra, I learned new English phrases that I can use in my daily conversation😊 Nakaraan papo ako nag Subscribe and I already watched some of your English lessons and I think mas nagiging confident napo ako mag english ngayon😊 More bless po sa iyong Channel Ma'am😁😇 Your New Student from Antipolo😄
That's ungrammatical, actually. I forgot to mention "Make your voice louder" pala.
silent viewer here, admire ur wonderful channel, hoping you mention our YTC on ur next video, thanks! i usually use "SPEAK LOUDER" or "CAN U PLS SPEAK LOUDER" .. thanks for enlightening us. tama ba grammar ko? hehe
Hi Ma’am Myra. I’m working po sa call center and my times po na yung caller is hindi ko maintindihan dahil mas naririnig po yung pag hinga (breathing) niya sa line. Pano ko po kaya maddress yon in english? Parang yung mic po nang phone niya is malapit sguro masyado sa ilong niya or what kaya rinig na rinig. Thank you po!
Translating to English the question, “Pang-ilan ka sa inyong magkakapatid?” has been a source of lively debate among my friends during get-togethers. I have heard many versions, some of which sound funny and stilted. Here’s my bet: Among your siblings, what is your order of birth? What do you say? Thanks.
@Oliver Your comment is out-of-topic! Likewise, your topic has been overly discussed for so many times perhaps years before COVID-19 era that's why it doesn't get that much attention anymore! Peace✌️
Thank you teacher sa new topic.👩🏫 Lagi naiinis si amo ko sakin. Madam: can you please speak louder (diko napansin kong loudly ang sinabi parang louder) rather than murmuring! Anananannana sabi ba nman…..🤭i have a lot of stories but I prefer to sleep rather than speak out and delete after. 😴🌝
Ay! I remember teacher. Mamita said,Can you please make your voice louder! Rather than murmuring. 🫣Oftentimes, I’m not listening and not aware of her words. I just get the message and perform my tasks, Specially if my moods and thoughts are fighting each other. ) Good morning!🤭
Hi! If you are making small talk, for example, it's more "natural" to start the conversation by asking "Do you have any siblings?" Then follow up question ka ng "How many are you?" "Where do you fit in that order?" I think if it's a conversation, the other person will start talking about his/her older or younger siblings then you can assume what his/her birth order is. If you are interviewing someone and you need to fill out a form about that person's background, for example, then directly asking "What is your birth order?" will be okay.
@@pinayenglishteacher You are correct! And it's mainly because Americans don't usually have big families and it's very rare that the "order of birth" is ever brought into a conversation. If somehow the conversation got deeper and the person was willing to divulge intimate matters like family, then I would start asking "are you the oldest or the youngest?" I have rarely spoken with Natural born Americans who are from a family of more than 2 or 3 children. One time I came across one with 6 siblings which is very rare☺
Jonas, my answer: If I SEE you naked beside my wife -- I will SAW your body into two parts. The verb SAW is more violent than the verb SEE. You're welcome.
Uhm.... SHOUT! SHOUT! LET IT ALL OUT! THESE ARE THE THINGS I CAN DO WITHOUT!!! COME ON! I'M TALKING TO YOU! COME ON! (I'm sorry for the trolling. It's just the song seems perfect here about the topic.) 😅😅😅
"And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone NOT FOUND written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire." (REVELATION 20:12-15 NKJV) Today, while you are still alive and able, may you repent from your sins, believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that JESUS CHRIST is your Lord and Savior, so that through Him, your name will be written in the Book of Life. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever BELIEVES in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved." (JOHN 3:16-17 NKJV) By God's GRACE, the gift of Salvation and Eternal Life is available to all. You can RECEIVE it. You can REJECT it. May you choose wisely..
NO! Do the things she recommended. But if you really like the word "increase", you may say: "Could you please increase the level(volume) of your voice". That's a mouthful to say, so here in the US you will never hear anybody being that tedious just to tell somebody to speak louder.
without watching the entire video, i would say, "Lakasan mo ang boses mo." in english is "Please speak louder." or in a polite way "Can you make your voice louder?" or "Would you mind making your voice louder?" Pwede ding "Kindly raise you voice."
