Glad you enjoyed our little part of the world. The food at the beginning looked delicious. And the Bakewell pudding and tart looked huge, what we would normally call "family size". You can buy individual tarts which are about the size of a cup cake, usually in packs of 4 or 6. And the tarts are one of my favourite type of cakes or desserts. You can get them in most supermarkets, so everywhere basically.

I know this video is old and more than likely you won’t read this comment. But when you are driving in the UK. The right hand lane on a motorway is for overtaking only. If you can you must drive in the left hand lane until you need to overtake. Police can stop you for doing it if they see you coasting in the fast lane.

When you two explore places around the U.K., did you ever think of just popping into some local supermarkets so us viewers can see what their local supermarkets have to offer in the sense of variety, quality, price and friendliness? Also, if you just grab a bunch of fresh fruit and vegetables and snack on them as you walk/drive around exploring, you might find that you're not as let down if you get to a restaurant that closed or doesn't have the healthy options that anyone's body enjoys and really needs when travelling. Just a thought. LOVE YOUR VIDEOS/VLOGS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love Thornbridge beers. I did the tour with my family a few years ago. Some of their medal winners, are some of the best beers the UK has to offer. And the gold medal winner is now exported to most of the beer drinking world. It has won lots of international awards too. If you are passing that way, I heartily recommend that you go and try some of their beers because honestly, some will blow you away at just how tasty they are. My wife doesn't even drink beer, but even she had to admit that a couple of them were really tasty. My two boys loved them so much that they bought a mixed crate with varied beers.

You make it sound like the 18th century is so old. Bakewell is a lovely old town. You guys should consider doing less dashing around on the motorway and move from place to place on A and B roads. You'll find some really interesting places on the way. That way the whole day will be the journey. If you like Brie in sangers, try a panino (or similar) with Brie, good quality dry cure bacon and fig jam. It's delightful, especially when warm/hot.

Just out of interest I'd love to know whether you've actually tried some food in Britain that you didn't like! You genuinely seem to love it all!!!

That food looked awesome! We've been to England a ton of times...bit only ever see London...we've seen more of Scotland. Lol But were really thinking we should give it some time. But first learn standard... Much cheaper when renting cars there

Technically that's not a Bakewell tart, it's a Cherry Bakewell. A proper Bakewell tart doesn't have the white fondant or the cherry.
