Join us in Bakewell as we hunt down 2 places that claim to be the home of the original Bakewell pudding, the predecessor to the Bakewell tart, and put them to the ultimate test.
We begin our day in Bakewell, Derbyshire with a walk by the river and the lovers lock bridge before heading in to the town centre on a quest to find the best Bakewell pudding. First of all we find Bloomers who claim to sell the original Bakewell pudding so we grab one for ourselves before hunting down the imaginatively named 'The Original Bakewell Pudding Shop' to grab one of their puddings.
We find a beautiful gardens next to the river and perform the ultimate Bakewell pudding taste test, but which one will reign victorious?
