Fantastic racing from start to finish with quite a few 'wrong place at the wrong time' moments. Now go to the replay at 01:48:05, the final turn, and freeze it. You will see the front left wheel of Drumont on the right side of your screen. Gallo ahead of Lopez. Gallo and Drumont their cars are in one of the normal racing lines there, but Lopez's car isn't. It makes an angle of at least 30 degrees to the right. He must have made a mistake and then tried to stay on track correction. Then going across the track with Drumont on the inside but still about half a car length away. Nothing Drumont could have done to avoid the collision :)
Yeah I was wondering. Surprised they didn't show a replay. I feel for him. Was totally rooting for Lopez but my man just sent it too hard too late. Can't believe he recovered enough to still male 3rd
Absolutely INCREDIBLE racing - i have to admit this is more excilirating than watching some real life races. But a bit disappointed that Drumont ended on the podium after racing so carelessly and taking out 3-4 cars and then punting Coque Lopez into 3rd place on last corner.
Watch that last corner again in slow motion. Lopez loses control and swerves sidways right in front of Drumont. Drumont had no way of avoiding Lopez. Drumont lucked out, sure, but it was Lopez who caused the crash.
Hello, I watched both live broadcasts, but to this day I have not received the in-game rewards that were supposed to be for watching the competition broadcast, why? anyone able to help?
Why does PD bother with the names and instead just call it the RedBull X2019 cup since that's the only car that really seems to matter for this? Love the racing but completely fed up with seeing this hateful car EVERY SINGLE ROUND
The sprint race is always different random cars which is fun, but the Nation's Cup has always been about the Redbull cars. I agree it would be fun to see other cars but that's why the Manufacturer's Cup is there. Maybe rename Nation's to Redbull cup? 😁
Agree. If it has to be one-make does it have to be Red Bull? Thematically weird for later entries in Gran Turismo to lean in to fictional cars. Especially ones that could never really be produced and raced for safety reasons, or in the case of the Dodge Tomahawk for being outside of the laws of physics. Gran Turismo needs to pick the path of realism or fantasy.
C’è un errore in classifica, non possono esserci 2 piloti con 3 punti nel primo round. De Bruin è arrivato quarto There is a mistake in the standings, there cannot be 2 drivers with 3 points in the first round. De Bruin finished fourth
Are you talking about Hizal or are you talking about Hencsei? Because unless the latter knows German, that means that Mikail at the very least knows Hungarian. I am not saying that you are wrong, because I don't know the difference between German and Hungarian myself, but it was strange that Hizal was his translator for the After The Lap Interview if he doesn't know Hungarian. Just saying.
Skill issue, the countries you mentioned have just had better drivers. They've finished better in the online series to earn their spot in these Nations Cup events.
I just watched the replay. Apart from the Serrano incident, he did nothing else. He sat at the end of the fast car's queue for 21 laps, he never washed out wide in corners, no divebombs. The last corner incident was Lopez loosing the car and oversteering in from of Drumont, nothing to do there. I think that hardly qualifies as "punted his way through", don't you think?
