A setback here in the Colonies.... I called a local turkey farm to ask if I could buy flight feathers (well the turkey has no further need for them, now does he). I was told, “No, we can’t let you have them.” Some bullocks about health restrictions.

On a 5/16 shaft that can prove costly, we would need to make them from horn, this would almost double the price.

I have been 3d printing 'horn' nock inserts for my self nocks, they work out at fractions of a penny each
