There are some major inaccuracies in these subtitles (fear instead of veer, data instead of DACA, agent instead of urgent, accepted instead of acknowledged, fuchsia instead of fuscation etc.). These change the meaning of what is being said.

I love 'English Speeches' and use them in my ESL classroom. I oftentimes don't mind if the speaker has an accent like this speaker does. This video has too many errors in the subtitles to use. Wrong words used, wrong spelling, etc. Any way it can be fixed?

However, I believe you can also use these mistakes in your class to show to your students why it's wrong and what's the best way to fix that. What do you think? Thank you

I appreciate your work on this and think that this resource is so valuable to English students. Thank you for your suggestion about using the mistakes to help them to identify errors in English. It makes sense if that is your focus in the classroom. I use the videos for improvement in pronunciation and writing, so when there are errors, the students run a risk of learning the wrong spelling of a word. Mistakes exist and will definitely help students no matter what. Keep up the great work, and I look forward to more speeches!!!

The irony for me is that the mispronounced name 'Chimi Changa' will be very close to a real name in Zambia (my home). The name ''Chamanaga'....a variation of 'Chimchanga' would not all be weird in Zambia!
