Maybe they should have explained to Flandre that while the sun is lethal to vampires, its absence is lethal to everything else, making bloodflow difficult at best
@@celebre8031 That's actually not true. She loves the people in the SDM, hell she even saved everyone from a giant meteor that was about to crash there (Bohemian Archive in Japanese Red). You got the wrong impression of Flan, probably by the fandom but maybe not.
@@celebre8031 Flan is not selfish. she is actually righteous(and rebellious but it is just phase lol). Otherwise you think a basement can restrain someone which the power to destroy anything? She locked herself in, subconsciously. thing is "enemy of vampires" is like a trigger word. In 2hu, Vampire is noble and mighty and their enemies must perish. Bet sakuya is scheming something.
@@celebre8031 she won’t have a home anymore if the sun is gone. Good luck keeping earth stable when it’s main source of gravity keeping it in orbit just explodes
I don't know what's more impressive. That Flan can just Thanos-snap the entire sun (without any remains that could go supernova), or that Patchouli can recreate suns like flipping on a lightswitch. You do not want to mess around with either of those two.
@BladeCast You're right. A 4-dimensional creature away from our 3 dimensional space would most likely be unaffected by Flandre's power. However as 3-dimensional spaces are like layers for 4-dimensional single space, a 4-dimensional creature could still get within our 3 dimensions, thus having any part found in it vulnerable to Flandre's power, possibly causing a damage to it.
@BladeCast but there's Sakuya, and then there's Reimu who beat not only Sakuya, but possibly whole Gensokyo where everyone can do ridiculous things, just think that Fairies are weakest of all, and one of them can summon winter, and I don't mean making a storm, I mean literally winter
Well, assuming the sun is similar to ours, it should have taken about 8 minutes for the people on Gensyoko to notice its disappearance, since that is how long the light from sun takes to travel to Gensyoko (also earth). It shouldn't have been instantaneous like that, but the then again we shouldn't rely on common sense on Gensyoko
speed of light: 300 000 000 m/s distance between sun and earth: 150 000 000 000 m 1500 (m) / 3 (m/s) = 500 seconds = 8 minutes huh, it's slower than I thought...
I know you can't apply logic to Gensokyo, but damn: destroying the sun? That's going overboard in more ways than one. Loved the ending; of all the characters in this, I think they portrayed Patchouli the best.
Nah Flandre likes Reimu and I think by the time she got to her she reconsidered, destroying the so called Vampire enemies, also all of this is technically Sakuya's fault.
14 times. That was the amount of times she chanted her magic in the short amount of time, and the "sun" instantly came back. Good effort, master. Good effort. Now her magic became the sun, nuts.
W-wait! don't just end like that! I was liking it .-. Music was lovely. I have the urge to ask: who are the responsables? don't sure if the credits list them, but I know I don't understand Japanese ...also.. NO CHINA??
+MegaSonicMax the score was made by machikado mapoze, they also made quite a bunch of touhou baroque & recorder arrangements, sakana nakazako (the arranger) also has a channel here in YT (though he now works with another circle) also, china must been sleeping
i wonder if people in gensokoyo would be freaking out over the sun flicking on and off like a lightbulb or if they’d be like “Yup, just another day in gensokoyo”
I got here from Soul Eater. Knowing about Touhou and the want for it to be an official anime makes me feel better for some reason. I guess RU-vid thought Touhou was a lot like Soul Eater.
That sad feeling that Hong Meiling is the only member of the Scarlet Team that wasn't in the video and even Koakuma is in it. Still enjoyed it regardless.
I remember finding this on 2015 and not understanding a thing, now, after entering the Touhou World, and watching it again in 2019, I realized how much I was missing. XD Also, the noise at 4:15, it feels like someone was using a Whiteboard Pen Marker (Don't know if that's its name) way to much, its actually funny. 🤣
I watched it after you mentioned it. I actually know that because my father is an physicist and this was one of the hypothetical situations he used in his classes.
