I really appreciate this review. I really wanted to learn about how variable power controllers work. So many of these bikes that are cheaper run on sustained power to the motor, and that just completely drains the battery. It seems like Engwe has really optimized their power distribution for better range and battery life. So much, that they prioritize it on their display.

While I appreciate the portable battery reviews, I also appreciate this electric bike review and your other ones. I'm not chasing YT reviews on bikes, so your reviews mixed in work well for me. Way back in the day, you've done other interesting videos beyond just the power stations/solar panels that are interesting too. Thanks for the reviews/videos!!

What about this model with single battery? Is it better than engwe ep 2 pro or engine pro?

As much as I like this bike, it's lacking 2 important things. 1- FENDERS : I live in NorthWest PA (20 miles west of Erie, 5 miles East of Ohio) and ride year round. 2 - 1000W hub motor: I have two hills, one at 7% at 1/2 mile, and the other at 5% at 3/4 mile. Other than that, it's a great looking bike.

I think the 1000W Motor should be fine. The batteries should also be fine as well at 22ah. What you need is torque. This bike has 65NM of torque and it seems like it has really smart power consumption. So it'll ease off that torque and power while you're on normal flat surfaces and it'll ramp it up when needed hills and inclines.

@@theblowupdollsmusic It wasn't long for me. I ordered mine between Christmas and New Years. It took 3 days to receive mine. I don't know about now. Last time I looked, that model was for Canada only. This is when the H9 was introduced. Sorry I can't bee more helpful.

I have a x26 with two battery one in the frame and one in the seat post. I know the twin battery is more expensive.

do all E-Bikes make that high pitch whine motor noise? I've never seen an e-bike in person so I don't know if they do. I like the leather grips and seat, that would match the feel of my Jeep.

Yes, they are getting popular in the Netherlands. I see them daily now. And they do make that noise.

The motor on this bike is actually pretty quiet. I think what you're hearing are actually the tires.

No fenders and can't charge batteries at the same time why?

Unfortunately, it has been an illegal bicycle in Europe since January 2024. The new European regulations classify it as a "motor cycle", and it is not approved to be registered as such. If the Police or Civil Guard catch you with it, the fine is heavy, because even if you limit it to 25 km/h, the motor is still 1000 W, and it weighs more than 40 kg. Look for the regulations, it is easy to find.
