Enhancing the Soybean value chain in Kenya 

The Syngenta Foundation for Sustainable Agriculture has partnered with Equatorial Nut Company (ENP), a large processor of fortified foods based in Muranga country in Central Kenya. They currently import all their soybean and have a keen interest in sourcing it locally to build the economy around the area they operate and improve the livelihoods of the smallholder farmers. This partnership will help to set up marketing trails in their farms where farmers can come and appreciate the different soybean varieties available and also receive good ag practices to enable them to increase the output from their farms.
