Enigma - Age of Loneliness 

Its all about the music in Enigma, I don't take the words to heart at all. I just love the soothing music which adopts itself to every individual life style. Every enigma lover, looks him/herself in Enigma, i see relaxation and peace in Enigma. Enigma is not for fiery people, its more to the person who needs calmness, quite and tranquilty in these days of fast pace. This music makes you slow, rather then fast, relieves tension, rather then indulge in alcohol or drugs, gives you focus on things.

In 1994, the world-famous music band “Enigma” from Germany released the single “Age of Loneliness” as one of the four singles in its second album “The Cross of Changes”. This single was peculiar in a way of containing the unusual female voice singing an extraordinary song in a strange non-western language. Listeners had no idea who the singer of this hitherto unheard song was. It turned out that the Mongolian traditional long song “Tosongiin oroigoor” (“On the heights of Toson”) was performed in this single by singer Nadmid Dechinzundui. Enigma - Age of Loneliness In the same year, the founder of Enigma, Michael Cretu released another single “The Eyes of Truth”. Likewise, in “Age of Loneliness”, this song also featured samples of Mongolian long songs, notably the “Alsyn Gazryn Zereglee” (“Mirage of a Distant Terrain”). Enigma’s album “The Cross of Changes”, thanks to these two singles and the use of exotic Mongolian long songs, was sold over 8 million copies worldwide.

honest, since i am an Enigma fan,i find this video more interesting and well done then the enigma original,,but the original Enigma video remains just as weird and pleasent videoclip..instead this one is more related to earth, animals and nature when the original video with enigma is related to humans... well done!

@dgluvssg Is this chant a piece of some Mongolian folk song? It;s very exotic and beautiful. Also, it sounds somewhat similar to Inuit/ Polynesenian songs to me. But I might be wrong.

great song, BUT, Enigma has changed some drum sounds (snare) from his original track, which in my opinion is Much better. You can peak listen at Amazons "Sliver soundtracks" (Track 2: Carly's song) There you can here the difference, that is; the ORIGINAL. Maybe its out on youtube as well :)
