Try a mixture of water- and water-soluble oil I think these pumps get too hot and no lube which causes the problem.

Nice to see you back,could you use just very light machine oil instead off water,lubes,takes heat......

Consider this; is it possible that beside a bronze bushing, to upgrade the cheap default all steel ball bearings to a ceramic bearing. I remember buying those from Boca for a nitro engine clutch application to live in that environment
