This watch is absolutely stunning.. I bought it last weekend and it really is a pleasure to wear and look at.. even more so than my Rolex Submariner or my Omega Seamaster... It has the edge with its looks and the fact that it is 100% Swiss is very reassuring... Absolutely brilliant
Its a fantastic watch. I got it shortly after it came out, and its clear that its meant to 'compete' in a way with the Oris Calibre 400 Aquis, it has a very similar look. I happen to have the Oris Calibre 400 Aquis too - so I can sit both of them side by side and see the difference and similarities haha! And the Seastar 2000 is naturally much larger at 47mm vs the Oris's 43mm. Its still a fantastic watch though!
I'm hesitating between Seiko Save The Ocean Samurai and Tissot Seastar. It's very difficult. Which one would you prefer? Is Tissot as better as its price is higher than Seiko...?
@@timargabor6853 the problem of seiko is that their brand ranges from low end to high end. And that drops the value of the brand because of the low end products. Tissot only produces mid to high end, no low range products and that made their brand more valuable. Don't get me wrong, i am also a seiko fan but to select betweem seiko and tissot, i will choose tissot. I don't like to walk on the streets wearing an expensive seiko watch and seeinf someone along the way with a cheap seiko watch, both still are seiko brand. That kills the quality you are wearing.
Don`t synchronize your data like that! There is a risk of breaking the gears if it is night time. So if you are not completely sure that it is daytime in the hours between 9 and 3 O Clock , 1st move the arrows to the safety zone - bots for minutes and hours - in the bottom zone under 3 and 9, for example 6 O clock, then you can regulate the calendar.
@@mansthing2666 thanks is really a nice watch, good time keeper he gets ahead a couple of seconds but that’s better than behind any second. Next step ? Omega Seamaster ❤️❤️ ..
@@mansthing2666 thank you , just ordered yesterday after watching your review , thank you for a detailed analysis , the bracelet looks a bit big for my wrist but i can have that adjusted at a shop 🙂 , this would be my first Tissot , always wanted one for a couple of years but i am glad i got this one , looks ultra amazing
How come all you watch reviewers seem to be petite with small hands and wrist Europeans? I have XXX hands and 8.5" wrist. Who measures their wrist in diameter? You need circumference to be accurate. The watch fits me perfect.
my tissot seastar 2000 lags by 4 seconds in 24 hours that is in 15 days 1 minute or 2 minutes in a month is this normal i got it a month ago 15.07.2024 and i've been wearing it for almost 3 weeks i would like a specialist to answer me is this normal or didn't i read somewhere that it was supposed to be developed please someone answer me i will wait impatiently
@@mansthing2666 I’m more suitable for the seastar 1000 42mm . Now I’m in a situation where the latest model doesn’t suit me but old model does . you know latest model is always better Than old model .🥺
I just bought the dark blue 2000 on a flash sale on Amazon for $550. I actually will dive with the watch though certainly nowhere near its capabilities. My friend has an Omega Seamaster ($5k?) and we vacation quite a bit in Mexico, many times driving down Baja to fish and dive. Im a bigger guy with 8" wrists my friend is bigger than me. I've never had any real problems down there but losing a $500 watch as opposed to a $5k watch to some "road tax" seems like something I wouldn't lose a lot of sleep over (as long as my dumbass buddy was the one to lose his Omega as well). my real question is - I was wondering if a watchmaker can get rid of that "T" second hand and replace it with something less obnoxious?
Beautiful, great characteristics, but too big.... (If you need a real dive watch with helium valve, 600m waterproof and legible in deep waters it's perfect). If you love divers style only, a Seastar 1000 is a perfect choice for the money with more reasonable measures... Nice Video! ✨🖖🏻✨
Je vends la mienne très très très peu portée, elle pourrait être vendue comme neuve tellement elle est en bon état. Avec tout, boite papiers..... Si intéressé faites moi signe 😊
This is a real mans watch for men who have at least an 8 inch wrist size...anything less than an 8 inch wrist and this watch looks ridiculous on you. Not my problem some of you "men" have tiny teenage boy wrists.😎
DONT BUY IT. I got to check the watch out in the store. For its price, you’d expect top level craftmanship. The issue is the bezel is a bit loose. If you can live with that imperfection then go get it.
DO BUY IT I just bought this watch last weekend and the bezel action is tight and very precise with absolutely zero lateral, horizontal or back play... They must have fixed this for the 2003 models.. The watch is a real stunner is built to the standards allied to a genuine diver watch... Its so good that it will be my daily wear on most days... Excellent... The way to go
