I am very attracted towards metallic sounds and finally, I got my first musical instrument. Randomly playing for the last week filled me with positive energy and peace. The kind of gravity I felt after playing even for 5 minutes a day is unexplainable. This tutorial has helped me to learn to create patterns!! Loved it

This is lovely to read - thank you for leaving a comment. I hope that you are still enjoying making music on your tongue drum - and also that you have recovered well from your surgery. (I am always promising myself to make more videos .. my content is currently rather limited.) Best wishes go you.

Thank you for this. I have had my drum for years and never have played. Didn't know where to start. So this was amazing. Are you available for private lessons>

Thank you for taking time to comment Teri. I'm so pleased that you enjoyed the video. I don't do private lessons I'm afraid. Dust off your drum, make patterns in rhythm, enjoy the sounds, play from your heart and you'll soon be well away! 🧡

Is it necessary to remove the center rubber plug for better sound quality?
@suzanneatrhythmharmony4321
@suzanneatrhythmharmony4321 9 месяцев назад
Yes - leaving the plug in mutes the volume and resonance somewhat, and tends to 'mix' the notes so that they sound less pure. Hapi Drums are intended to be played without the plug in.

Where do you find your tambourines what does that come from
@suzanneatrhythmharmony4321
@suzanneatrhythmharmony4321 Год назад
I bought this drum many years ago from a shop in Glastonbury, but they are also available online - search for 'HAPI Drum Mini'. (The tambourine that you can hear in the background music is made by Remo.)
