Guys just a remark - most pbly you cannot edit the video anymore, but in step 10 on the screen there is written Black x Pale Sand, but Agniezska says neutral grey and CC shows neutral grey too. I leave it here for those confused at first as me :-) Step 11 silver grey instead of white? Else thank you very much for this tutorial video, sometimes, I need to go back as not all parts touched in one chapter are clear, but hey its a huge learning process. Thx guys. M.

What are you wipping the brush on the paper for first? Is it to smooth out the paint so you don't get to much paint on the brush?

A pretty decent tutorial, though I wish it was made a little clearer which parts are painted in each step. Also, seeing as the paint night sets send you to these videos, it’d be nice if only items included in the set are used. Lastly, it seems like the colors included in the set come out looking different than the ones used here. Specifically, the black and neutral gray seem lighter in this video. After following the steps to dry brush the skin, it almost looks identical to the original black color.

thank you for your comments! We'll take them into consideration. Except for the last one - we use just the same colors that are used for the kit so it may be a problem on the manufacturers side. We are very sorry you experienced complications. You can use a different technique and see if it helps in enhancing the saturation of the color

@@denofimagination I appreciate the response. I hope it didn’t come across as me blaming you guys for the paint thing. I just found it odd and wanted to mention it. I just finished the gun metal blue step and it goes on blue and dries purple. Odd, but I’m not exactly complaining as I really like purple. Thanks for the tutorial though. This is my first time painting a miniature and I’m very excited with how it’s turning out. I just hope it stays exciting as I get into the more challenging small details. Dexterity isn’t my strong suit, nor is patience 😅.

just did the primer coating for this as well, and the colour definitely looks different. More black vs the greyer tones the vid shows we're supposed to have and more glossy

@@purplexus we really appreciate every single comment about our work so it's fine, really. We hope your miniature turns out pretty and you'll be satisfied with the finished look! Especially if it's your first time painting. If you have any questions - just ask us and we'll try to help

@@ogre83 Hmmm. I think the greyish finish may be caused by the amount of light in the studio. But the glossy finish... Did you shake the bucket with the paint before using it? It can be caused by the medium of the paint separating from the actual paint and making the surface shine

Base black paint ended up too glossy and dry brushing doesn’t even stick. I tried dry brushing for few minutes so much that some parta of the blac paint on the arms came off. Did I put too much paint, how to reverse it?

I think you should try to shake/stir the paint before putting it on the mini - the glossiness may be caused by the medium separating from the pigment

Fantastic video and great tutorial. Only thing I could comment on is sometimes the “pause here to complete this step” is a bit too short to hit the pause button. Maybe 1-2 seconds more would be perfect haha
