Impressive how the "your best friend" leitmotiv can be so scary yet so simple...

First thing I noticed was that in the original Flowey art, he is in the middle of what looks to be an eye, and with a song title Enlightened, I'd like to think that's not a coincidence. The overall showing of how it must have progressed from having total (or near total), control over what happened in the underground to not being able to directly influence the stream of time is really well done. The vibes near the end as Omega Flowey really just felt _right_ with how the in-game fight feels. Overall great music and composition as always! Again your art is wonderful!

For the lyrics "All 7 sins have lived through me", think about the 7 souls. "Oh, but what about the red soul, that hasn't been absorbed by Flowey!" Asriel and Flowey are one and the same, and since Asriel absorbed Chara's soul, well... by that logic, it only makes sense that Chara's soul is the seventh soul that has lived through Flowey/Asriel.

OKAY THIS IS SO GOOD. Flowey is my absolute favourite Undertale character, and one of my all-time favourite video game characters that I've come across so far. And THIS? This is one of the best things I've ever heard. I'm not kidding when I say this might be my favourite song you've made so far. It captures him as a character PERFECTLY. The way he at the beginning talks about his lack of a soul, how shocked he was at the start, but then it slowly descends into describing everything that he can do, now as a being with control over everything and everyone around him, when he's left his past behind. I'm about to overanalyze some of the lyrics, because this song is just really really good in how it portrays Flowey as a character. "Now there is darkness, and yet enlightment". He is confused, and yet curious about what this power holds and what it means ... "All seven sins have lived through me". THIS LINE. THIS. LINE. This might be one of my favourite lines from the song. He has done everything the world has to offer, he has seen everything, explored every imaginable path, he's done things both good and bad... until he's reached just every possible outcome one can think of. Until it has grown stale for him. "Power fading, what does it mean..." He doesn't know what happened, why his power has left him all of a sudden. "It must be you then, you cannot leave me", and "Or do I know you, are you someone from the past I chose to leave behind"... he's starting to project Chara onto Frisk here. And, just the whole part with the soul colors matching the lyrics was... absolutely amazing. The sequence with Photoshop Flowey really shows this overpowered demigod that he has become in that very moment, how he sees himself and how he sees Frisk... and the song ending with "You will never leave" is... so good, because it fully matches the way he describes his motivations in the final battle of Pacifist. He's projecting his sibling onto this new fallen child, and even here, he'll make them stay in his world forever, in an endless loop of deaths until they give up for good. I swear, I'm done with the lyric analysis, but I just NEED to bring up the melody of this song. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. The way it manages to utilize Flowey's leitmotif and yet have this amazing original melody in it... it's one of the many, MANY things that make this song so amazing to listen to. AND THE ART. SO GOOD. This is one of the longest comments I've ever written, but that's just because I am in awe with how you managed to make such an amazingly done song for one of my favourite video game characters. I just... can't give enough praise to it.

I like the idea THAT floweys voice just comes from him like an echo flower his mouth never moves or it depends on which face he distorts into

oh my god do i love this song, the way it shows exactly how flower percieves the world rather than how he wants to be percieved as he toys with you. he's a being elevated to "god" simply because he was the right cocktail of mad science, misery, and refusal to fade into obscurity, and that left him as something driven to the ends of the earth to keep anything and anyone that comes close to who or what they are with them forever. the slow, repeating synth reflects floweys madness perfectly and the rapid spike of fast violence when the main melody is followed is 100% his style of sudden fear. overall, great song and another banger to add to the list!!

Oh my Lord. I am actually amazed. How do u put good music and good analysis of characters in all of ur songs every time? The part where u show floweys confusion when he is no longer in control of the underground was spectacular. And the part where he says "you will not leave" or smth along those lines, I take that as him saying u will never leave the underground bc hes so sure that he will defeat u and gain control of the underground once more. Which also, at the same time, shows how terrifying and overpowered yet underestimated the player is. U, the player, are unbeatable. Flowey is so sure that he'll beat u, but u not only get the souls to betray him, u also DEFEAT him. A technically immortal being with 6 HUMAN souls, the most powerful souls in their world, was beaten by one mere child. God I love undertale so much, ur songs rlly make my day!!! Ok, so this song is absolutely great for flowey. Espically since it goes from calm/creepy to demented/insane. Overall, the omega flowey part truly gives form to just how twisted Asriel became. Instead of an angel he's turned into a demonic being. Please keep up the amazing work. Will you ever do Your best nightmare/Finale? Hopes and dreams or even megalo strike back in the future?

gfdi youtube i subscribe to a channel, forget to toggle a setting, so i don't get recommended absolute bangers until NOW, TODAY, since "i am not my own"? dude it looks like you've posted so many bangers, i'm literally so excited to see you do something with "vs susie" because that track goes WAY too hard, it competes strongly for my favorite track in chapter 1, and i just -- ahhh !!!!!!!!!! this was an interesting one -- i liked it !!! it didn't feel like flowey in his more "fake" moments, when he's affecting a person based on his appearance. this felt brooding, calculating, strange, off, unnatural -- in other words, i think it fits him VERY well and explores a vibe that i usually only see in relation to omega flowey (where it's usually drown out by the Absolute Horror of it all). in other words: weird song, the sound of droning vocals over the "your best friend" motif will haunt me for the rest of my life; amazing work !!!

I always thought Flowey was just delusional for calling Frisk “Chara.” This is the first time I’ve ever considered Flowey saying “Chara” is a logical conclusion for him to make. Flowey contemplating Frisk in the song makes a lot of sense. Asking “are you a godly being like me” instead of “Chara” first makes a lot of logical sense.
