Is it weird that I knew the content of the course before I physically read it? I picked up the book this jan 23 and I could not stop making annotations on the edges of the pages saying "pre-course knowledge" :)))) However, I enjoy reading it and it gives me a system I can refer to when my mind is mubledjumbled from overindulgig in the illusion. :)))

As to what Adrian B was referring- I believe Ken did say something like that regarding prayer, but he said it happens at the bottom rungs of the ladder. And the problem with "getting" what you pray for in that way becomes very comfortable and satisfying, so you are less likely to advance up ladder. Why would you want that?
I wondered if you could comment on something Ken said in one of his videos. I think alot of people are confused by it, including me. He said, "The course does not ask you to change. It just asks that you look....Even if you choose your ego, instead of the Holy Spirit, just being aware that you have a choice means you are already in your Right mind." This has been on my mind for a long time. Could you please speak on this in an answer or in another video. Thankyou! 🙏
Really, the Course is about looking at the tiny mad idea of separateness and not taking it seriously - finally laughing at it. Forgiveness is looking at the ego, our own and everyone else's, without taking it seriously, without any judgement. When we fight the ego, feel guilty about the ego, or set out to undo the ego, we compound the error because it makes the ego real - it gives it a reality it doesn't have. We are an ego trying to be a "holier" ego. This is no use. The "you" who can notice your ego without judgement, justification or opinion (pure Awareness) is not the ego. The part of your mind that can look at Bob without judging him isn't Bob. So, when you look at your ego, TWO selves are present. There is the ego identity you are looking at. And there is the "you" that is looking non-judgementally. The Self is looking at the self. This is why you are already in your right mind. So we forgive ourselves for choosing the unhappiness of identifying as an ego until we are ready to identify as the Self that looks and not the self that's looked at. As long as we are awake to the right mind like this in the looking, that choosing again is as certain as God.
I have been doing forgiveness as you suggested and it is helpful, I just want to know if this is a script that already done,written and over as a dream. Are we now reviewing in the present moment what has already gone by. Looking at our responses in terms of what comes up as guilt,fear,sin and hate, and looking at that with the Holy Spirit in the Theater as the non judgmental present moment awareness that looks and does nothing but sit and wait and welcome what comes up?
How does the course address or not, Jesus’s statement “This and greater than I will you do.”?He had risen from the dead and manifested his body before the disciples.
j don't get it, if I could step out of the problem I would not need the Holy Spirit or help? I thought turn it over to the HS means it is beyond me to separate myself from this, to come to forgiveness about this, to let this go??? so HS please do this for me, please help me? Turn everything over??
Turning things over to the Holy Spirit means letting your own personal mind interpretation go so it can be replaced with the Holy Spirit's. The Course process is that you must look on the error with the Holy Spirit (so without judging yourself) in order to be able to let go of it. The whole course is about looking at your ego non-judgementally (with the Holy Spirit)

"the secret of true prayer is to forget the things you think you need...."* I cannot be heard by Love when I am imagining myself to be "a separate thing" - a name with a body. .
After 1:31:00 a suggestion on practice, *not to try & be mindful all the time,* because "the guilt in your mind will lead to fear of the light"... but instead...
"You ARE the Kingdom of Heaven, but you have let the belief in darkness enter your mind and so you need a new light. The Holy Spirit is the radiance that you must let banish the idea of darkness." T-5.II.4. The darkness is what is not the Kingdom of Heaven which you truly are. The illusory separate thing - Adrian.
Very interesting ...The only issue I have with this man is that he is never serious about what he says.. Constantly laughing at what he says ...very disconcerting
But the self I think I am (the person) doesn't want to be beaten & raped. It doesn't want children to starve or be molested. 30 years as ACIM student, this is where I have issues with it's teachings. Any thoughts on this? I welcome anyone's input. Thank you. ❤️🦩
I don't have an answer for this, but have seen tge question posed many times, and in different ways, ny James Braha and his close friends - all longterm spiritual seekers like yourself - in a series of meetings over a period of weeks with the great teacher Sailor Bob Adamson. This question used to torture Mr Braha in particular and disturb his sleep. Sailor Bob gave a number of answers in their wide-ranging talks.
