Some tips for the aspiring Pomudachi on the Pomu Leaf ritual: *Pomu Leaf usage has been shown to alter brain development with continued exposure, and is not recommended for Pomudachis under the age of 21*. It is always fine for a Pomudachi to decline to join in the Pomu Leaf ritual, and a true Pomudachi would never pressure anyone into using Pomu Leaf. When using Pomu Leaf (or any other neuroactive substance) for the first time, dosage and patience are key. The correct dose and activation time of Pomu Leaf depends on how you consume it during the ritual. If you ingest Pomu Leaf, start with a low dosage of 5-10 milligrams, and wait 30 minutes to 1 hour before ingesting any more. Pomu Leaf legally purchased in edible form should have a milligram amount on the packaging, and may be broken up into individual doses. Finding the correct dosage can vary wildly depending on a number of factors such as the preparation and quality of the Pomu Leaf, tolerance to the effects of Pomu Leaf, your BMI (body-mass index), and how recently you've eaten. Because it is very difficult to find the correct dosage when ingesting Pomu Leaf for the first time, it is HIGHLY recommended that you start with a VERY small dose and only eat another small dose after 30 minutes to an hour. If you inhale Pomu Leaf, the effects are felt much quicker, usually within 1 to 3 minutes. It is recommended to pause the ritual once you start feeling the effects, to avoid overdosing yourself. Overdosing on Pomu Leaf is not fatal, but common symptoms include panic attacks, vomiting, dizzyness, and loss of consciousness. If you have a pre-existing medical condition such as a respiratory condition or anxiety disorder, it is recommended that you talk to your doctor before using Pomu Leaf. @@Lucaz99 thats a common misconception; ODing doesnt necessarily mean death, it just means you went over the theurapeutic dosage, in other words if you take so much that instead of feeling the goody goods you feel like shit (a bad trip, or like in this case, passing out), that is ODing.

@@ncp9095 it takes much longer to kick in but it is way more potent. If you take too much you can render yourself downright retarded for hours.

My mom had some sort of edible and had too much and while she was fucked up she grabbed my dad’s leg and when he asked why she said “I just need to hold onto something so I know I’m not floating away”

I remember being surprised at how music grounded me after having a bad reaction to PomuLeaf. My like... conscious sense of time felt like it was breaking every few seconds but when I played a song it felt like an intact continuous thread. Made me cry a little bit. Wild stuff lol

you can throw up, but it is extremely unlikely. It suppresses nausea, but it can cause equally nasty motion sickness. So if one hits you light, and the motion problem hits hard... and I have never seen it counter when mixed with too much alcohol.

Idk why people say this. I’ve seen so many people throw up from both small and large amounts. Especially edibles

To be fair, you did not accurately count them as filler words. A large portion of them were used appropriately as the conditions for similes.

I had a belgian waffle with bananas, pecan, brown sugar and caramel at a restaurant after enjoying some pomu leaf and it was definitely one of my favorite eating experiences

I remember being on pomu leaf once and eating taco bell burritos. Those were the best burritos I've ever had in my life. Which is amazing, cause otherwise those are the worst burritos I've ever had in my life.

It's called pushing for a reason and it's a shitty friend who makes a person take edibles for their first time to the point where she is hallucinating. I don't normally condone taking any drugs but if you do make sure someone is there that knows what's going on. Her friend was also inexperienced as she didn't understand the side effects (Reason I don't condone is the potential risks, Pomu Leaf is pretty mild in genereal, but like anything if you take too much it can have various toxic effects. ANYTHING ca be poisonous if you take too much of it and unbalance the system. - Been there and done that and pay for the consequences now)

Have you guys ever tried pairing it with caffeine/coffee? From experience, it somehow mellowed the effects to a degree. Tho idk how it’d be when you’re in outer space

It sounded like she was also panicing as well. She probably only felt relief when she threw up because she stopped panicing, She still had to experience the trip itself but wasn't paniced as much anymore

things like black pepper, lemons or just food and water helps to mellow down the high. taking CBD also helps as well.

Illicit drugs are pretty serious for a Japanese company. Pomu leaf gets jail time and it's far less casual to talk about there than in North America, even prior to the decriminalization movement happening piecemeal across the states.
