What I love about Ennui is that she's me. I'm mostly glued to my phone too, but not all the time. Even with her boredom, Ennui still cares deeply for Riley like the others.
I wish Embarrassment, Envy, and Ennui were fleshed out more and shown how harmful they could be if they go overboard, like Anxiety. Riley could be scared of embarrassing herself by messing up during practice, thus no longer wanting to do anything that would put her in an uncomfortable situation and losing motivation. Riley could have felt envious that her friends were going to the same school without her and envious of how good Val is (rather than only admiring her), thus making her want to be better at hockey and make new friends. Ennui could be Riley giving up- she no longer has interest in hockey after all the stress she is going through

I wonder how Ennui looks for everyone else since phones didn’t exist for older people. If there is an Inside Out 3, I would like to see these new emotions being featured in other people (aside from Anxiety which was shown with the parents)
@@CutWat the thing is that for people like riley's parents a pager would be more fitting since that would be more common for them growing up for even older people i doubt their ennui would have had a phone since i doubt the general populace back then saw smartphones (let alone pagers) coming

"Well come on up here, Enn-were, am I saying, right? Enn-waa, no, oh, nicknames! Imma call you "Oui Oui"!" "Non." "Oohlala, my phone? Where's my phone? Seriously?! This is not happening! Non, non, non, non, NOOOONNNN!!!"
french mf here, the fact that ennui HAD to be french is so true, like have yall seen my contry ? ennui is an average person here, it's freaking hilarious, I couldn't stop laughing any time she was on screen, and the fact that joy immediatly nicknamed her "oui-oui" is too funny 😂😂😂 (also I watched the film in english, but I still wonder how the heck is this joke gonna work in france ???) edit : I just watched the scene dubbed in french on yt, well it's disapointing 😂

and at the beginning I thought that I wouldn't like Ennui jaja I died of laughter when suddenly she realized that she didn't have her cell phone, what a mental breakdown gave her.

I relate to Ennui SO MUCH.. 1.) she’s French. I love France (I’m not from France tho- 😭😭) 2.) she’s *LITERALLY* the *EMBODIMENT* of boredom/laziness 3.) Ennui and I have the same *POSTURE* 😭😭
“WHY She’d Stop?! ‘Sadness’? (Gasps) Ennui! WHERE’S Your Phone?!” “Ooh-La-La! MY Phone? Where IS My Phone? Seriously?! This Is NOT Happening. NO, No, No-NO-NNOOOOO!!!!” The most relatable character that uses her phone 24 hours a day

1:42 Anxiety: You know what’s better than two?😏 Three! Envy: (wanting to say the same because she couldn’t think of her own answer as quickly as Anxiety did) Three! (Her voice line from the clip that wasn’t shown in this video) I was just about to say that, we were about to say that at the same time.😏 Ennui: But how are we gonna score three goals? 1:55 Ennui: (smiling) She can be bored, but never boring.🙂

Guys ennui is French. That means sassy, bored, doesn’t give a f, says non non non or ou la la, and is ofc fckn sarcastic ❤ (coming from a French person)
