A minute’s worth of research would show that there are several Dynaquest XL floor plans to choose from all the way up to 41’ with a bath and a half. If you don’t want the short one get a longer one. However, there are many customers who want the power of the XL but with a shorter overall length. This unit meets that demand.
Anything north of $350K should be able to do better than a phone-booth sized bathroom. I don't care what the rest of the rig offers, a radius shower is an automatic hard no. You drop something in a radius shower, you don't have room bend over to get it (unless you are a child). You have to squat and use the braille-method to find it. Then if you have arthritic knees or hips, you are likely going to get stuck and someone has to come help you (wet, soapy and nekkid) out of that jam. Radius showers ain't nothing but the devil.
It could be an amazing RV but that bathroom is a joke. The wet bay is a total mess. For that price point it should a lot better. I hate the radius shower and the toilet paper holder needs to be elsewhere. Now I do love the king bed and the kitchen. Also not thrilled with the bunk over the cab, it might as well just be storage.
Love the review Matt but you need to explain things a little better. It’s a rear locking differential. That engages both rear wheels equally which makes a huge difference when traction is poor. That’s what people pay for and that’s what you need to learn how to explain. You are big time now and you have a higher level of responsibility.
Agree with your likes and dislikes! Additional likes: Air horn, generator is not under the bed or on the camp side, and 8,000# CCC. Additional dislikes: Messy wet bay, side mirrors are not remote control or have memory settings, carpet on the slide, and no sink in the bathroom to wash your hands.
Great theater seating!!! You are correct- the trays there should be foldable out of the way, but great seating design. Also bathroom is slightly disappointing but kitchen is a “10”
Love the seat butt springs for super driving comfort! What a beast! I'll give a pass on the toilet paper holder and tight space. Love the bed! Thank Matt and Andrea!
Matt I agree with most others that as a very small Super C there are space limitations. However, overall they did a good job with the space they had. However, I would have swapped the interior and put the windows on the patio side so you could see your campsite and not your sewer and neighbors.
Disagree with the rig length vs hp/chassis "opinion". With many miles of experiene driving the L9 Cummins in a 2021 36' Renegade Verona there is no compaison. We travel with a motorcycle lift (1000 lb bike) and also tote a small SUV (3600lb). The 6.7 Cummins or "Godzilla" Ford gas motor (and lighter chassis they're built on) won't cut it i.e. you'll be disappointed. I have owned an F250 big block gas, F350 7.3 D, F350 6.0 D and curently own an F450 6.7 D. I have several trailers and pull loads ranging from 2,500 lbs to 13,000 lbs....to tow safely and efficiently you need the dog wagging the tail, not otherwise. Love your channel and the content but IMHO you should travel in an rig before you give an opinion regarding it's tow capacity and characterisics...like you say "know before you tow".
I'd like to disagree with Matt on the size of this motorhome. If you want the biggest nicest motorhome you get a Class A. This is the motorhome for the rich hobbyist. You're towing a race car with shop trailer behind it, a horse trailer, power boat, 4 ATVs, stuff like that. If you make it 45 feet long and add a 20+ long trailer you're longer than a semi truck.
Agree with you except Matt wasn’t saying make it 45’ long. Just another couple feet. I like how Matt’s Reviews look at the bathroom and the space. Totally agree with his thoughts.
Wow this doesn’t happen often but I have to disagree with Andrea I love the lagoon table because I’m a heavy user of Tec stuff tablets ,laptops .phones ,Vr goggles etc I need the size not to mention eating dinner thanks for all your videos can’t afford them but I can dream
Is something wrong with the fifth wheel behind Andrea at 0:55? It's leaning forward. Not sure if that's normal? Not a fan of how the rail for the sliding door is exposed.
Matt, I watch all of your videos. Usually, I do not comment because you hit all of the major points. I have to put my two cents in on this one however! Bathroom, bathroom, bathroom!!!! Really, what were they thinking? 400K+ with essentially a class B+ bathroom is unthinkable! Everything else is immaculate, but for me the bathroom IS a deal breaker! As always, great review!!!!
I was pretty close to buying a Dynaquest 37BH. Dynamax is doing a lot of good things, but I passed due to my dislikes. I did the factory tour to see how they are built. They use a lot more cheap pine in the construction than I was comfortable with. Overtime that won’t hold up. Check your facts on the one piece roof. Dynamax does a roll on fiberglass roof which was the show stopper for me on a $350,000 coach. Also, Dynamax likes to change the price after you sign your deal but I understand other manufacturers are doing that now too. Can’t beat the Dynamax paint job though.
I was hoping you'd say that about the window / it looks like the bathroom would have been ok if they had squared it up instead of going round ( but its a big fail ) the WET BAY ...come on! its a freaking mess, whats up with that!? inside colors are too dark. the power the power the power ! it's about the power ! but I wouldn't want to pay the fuel costs LOL you probably burned 5 gals just turning it on. ppl that buy this need to understand it's a semi - so it's going to be very loud while driving ( like VERY damage your ear drum LOUD over a period of time ) Would I buy it as a former truck driver ? No.
I agree with Andrea on the trays and certainly agree with u on that bathroom. U can’t even get to the toilet paper roll easily. The kitchen is amazing though
Dead on comments about the bathroom. Also, this is a big boy toy. How am I supposed to accommodate my big boy friends and their need to get a good nights' sleep? The bunk area would have been better served by putting in some cabinets as the loss of the little windows would be of no consequence. Overall, it's a "nice" unit, but a little more forethought should have been utilized.
totally get the mattress issue, would have to be a high end sleep number to even have a hope of pleasing everyone, otherwise no point in bothering with nice one at all, just something to sleep on until you get around to getting what you want. toilet, lol, not good. otherwise i like it
Dislikes: 1) yes, I agree, as it combo the lagoon tray looks plastic and fake, it doesn't match and should be put away. 2) the overhead bunk is too small, as a Super C, it should have a tv and be bigger. 3) lastly, to me the bathroom is a deal breaker. The tp holder was hitting Matt's shoulder, now imagine with a full roll. Likes: 1) Combo: counter top space AND a counter extension with lights. Nice! 2) love the barn door 3) with the washer and dryer in the hallway, it makes the bedroom look comfortable. I'll add a 4th) combo: love the exterior paint color and I love the way the awning is built into the body rather than just mounted on the side.
I love the look, the space, and the power for towing and/or cargo of these Super C's. After climbing into one too many in Tampa last week however, I hate getting in and out of them. I'm probably wrong, but they felt like an even bigger climb than most Class A models. If I was younger or healthier or both, this rig would have a lot to offer. Sadly, I'm not in 2002 anymore. 🤣
I feel ya. We go on trips and vacations these days with a Dodge Ram and a Holiday Inn Express. Much easier on the joints, and a lot less maintenance, expense and clean-up when we get home.
I get what you’re saying about this floor plan. When I saw no windows I was afraid it was going to be a long dark tunnel, but it’s well lit, looks really comfortable and efficient. For the price, the bathroom should be better, and I’m not in love with the hardware on the barn door-it just doesn’t look like it goes with the rest of the decor, but that’s a super picky issue. I love this, so naturally I could never afford it.
Didn't like the TV in the kitchen, the front seats didn't turn, more of window needs to open. Loved the paint, kitchen, couch. For the size of the coach it's also missing pantry, decent bathroom.
Nice! Likes: paint job, pass-thru storage, CCC (thank you for providing that info), bunk railing, easier access to storage under the dinette seating, king bed. Dislikes: no windows on passenger side, I was hoping no 'deal breakers' but the bathroom sink in hall is a deal breaker for us, toilet (Matt is right), one bath, and no oven.
Hi Matt and Andrea! My likes are the kitchen the bedroom and the paint job on the exterior. My dislikes the logon table. The bunk being small and the bathroom. Thank you Matt and Andrea for showing this Rv.
Definitely make the bathroom bigger. Also, there is no designated pantry. I hope that the theater seating (sans lagun tables) could have a trifold sofa as an option. I do like the overall appearance, both inside and out. The kingsize sleep number bed is awesome. The kitchen, even missing the pantry, is topnotch.
nice Super C..like everything but the outside TV needs to be bigger and more towards the center of the coach. Agree with you on no windows on the camp side...could have down one real long one or two windows...Bathroom toilet is ok tp holder in in the wrong place as you demonstrated ...love the Super C's you all are showing of late
The paint job was breathtaking. Basement storage was great! Great kitchen counter space. However no pantry. Bathroom/shower just too small. The water bay looked like they just threw everything in there. This rig wouldn’t work for anyone full time for sure.
Hi Matt and Andrea! Overall it looks like 👍 it's the BOSS! Quality in the engine and seats! Bedroom and kitchen are winners- Bathroom stinks for high end model. I would want the smaller length but do not need a 400,000 rig to do it in. The kitchen window is small. I'm going to check out the europa!
so that MSRP in Canadian funds $15 million 🙂 ok not that much but........might as well be. We will go with the Dislikes First......#1 Lagun tables were CHEAP! #2 interior color could have been WHITE.....think Space and #3 this is nit picky, where was the Toilet Paper dispenser., behind my shoulder......and 3 things we Love.....#1 the cedar lined cupboards and drawers, nice touch. #2 the shower is SMOOTH WALLED! #3 lots of counter space and a lovely backsplash.....windows are on the other side, park properly and you will have an abundance of LIGHT and VIEW. Love You Guys and Love the Vids.......
The washer dryer doors looked like they might be blocking access. Also, can't believe they actually 😳 put the tp holder there. Loved your window idea Matt and love this RV
Dislikes? The toilet paper holder, the small overhead bunk, and I can't think of anything else. Likes? Way too many. The bed with night stands, the kitchen, and the paint job!!!! I could go on and on
Dynamax always kills it with the exterior. The interior…..mehhh different story. I love the dynaquest XL but the Verona LE interior is hard to ignore vs this
What's the combined overall length? The average length of a semi is 72 ft. What's the turning radius? The turning radius is something I'd like to know on all your RV reviews.
This is a very nice unit but the bathroom sucks (I totally agree with you and Andrea), I do love the paint, outside storage, chassis, bedroom, kitchen, and TV placement. Love the channel and all of the videos including towables.
I like the burgundy on the outside, the 20K towing capacity, the kitchen cabinets and extension. I would be better if: Need bigger windows on the kitchen/campsite side. Needs a bigger bathroom (like the smaller overlander - now that was an awesome bathroom - why not put this one in this one is a step up? That was confusing. I agree with Matt and Andrea on this one with the bathroom issue. Not good...for that money.
Thanks for pointing out the nasty cheap looking eyesore tables. I cannot understand why they put these on all their models. For the price I would go with a Renegade.🤷🏻♀️
I would rip out that shower and put in a rectangular one, seems stupid. Why oh why can’t people have a different floor plan that they can have input on. It would take around 3 or more RV’s combined to make a great one. And I don’t like at all the sleep number bed. They suck!
The toilet paper holder is a non-starter. The bunk above the cab looks cheap, I'd much prefer a dedicated storage bay. I love that there's a washer and dryer, and a generous sized fridge and freezer. Also props for the sleep number mattress. Are all of the TV's streaming service ready?
Yes I want one but -- at today's fuel prices, and a 6 t0 8 mpg fuel consumption + def, - you're looking at a buck a mile just to drive it somewhere. That could be the deal breaker, not just the toilet paper hanger.
Not liking the entire bathroom setup with the hallway sink, the terrible toilet position and radius shower. Also, why does every $400,000 motor home have a 2 burner cooktop and no oven? Some rich people like to cook too🙄
I agree about the window, the plastic trays 😠, and I can’t stand radial showers, and the toilet paper roll holder. Oh the 2 burner cooktop, really? The bathroom is a deal breaker as is the kitchen. I much prefer the showhauler.
I sold my 24" travel trailer due to a family emergency. Since then I been watching Matt and Andrea. I'm making my goal to buy a class c or a class b rv and when I do I'm gonna be calling Matt 👍🙏
