Yes, I have Eileen. Went there on my first trip to Mexico City and it is an awesome place. The museum's centerpiece is so impressive and to see it in person really provides the scale necessary to appreciate even more! I love your videos and if you ever get the chance to do a video on the Trotsky museum, I would appreciate it as it is one place that I have missed on my trips to Mexico City.
Thank you! You're so right about the scale. When I first walked in and saw the 'umbrella' I was left a bit breathless. It really anchors the space in a beautiful way. It's funny you mention the Trotsky museum because it's actually included in a video coming very soon!
Eileen Aldis I've been living in Mexico City all my life, I have even been in that very museum at least three times and I don't even know half of all the things you talked about in this video. 😅 I really enjoy everything in your videos. Keep up the good work, smile and keep having a great time in Mexico. Good luck! 😉
We didn't visit the museum yet, but we will visit Mexico city next month and make sure to visit this museum. Thanks for sharing, therefore I left you a sub 👍
This museum is Epic! Im from Paris so museum is definitely a thing we do and go to from very young age! This museum blew my mind. I have visited it twice and twice we where the last ones...they had to kick us out 🤣. It has become one of my fav place to visit ever... 🇲🇽 💚🤍❤ SabrinaFromLondon 🇬🇧
Hey Sabrina! I just randomly found your comment from a couple of years ago on this video! Sorry I missed replying to it before. I'm definitely a museum person too. Remember when they had to ask us to leave the Faberge egg museum in Russia?! 😂
@@EileenAldis yes one of my favourite episode ever! Gosh I loved the Finnish 🇫🇮/ Russia series I really wanted to go check St Petersburg I wonder if I will ever make it! It’s all so sad 😞 I can’t believe it’s still going on… Of course my fav other series of yours were Taiwan and Türkiye and I’m really hoping that I can go to these 2 countries in near future 🤞🏼
Great place isn't it! We loved our visit and learnt so much. It's so big though that it did get a bit overwhelming haha we'd love to have been able to visit two or three times so we could concentrate on a smaller area of the museum on etc visit. Seeing this makes us want to be back in Mexico City again. Such a cool city!! Thanks! Thomas
Hey Thomas! Sorry, just seeing your comment now! Yes, it's GIGANTIC and you could easily spend days and weeks as there is so much to see and learn. I miss Mexico City too! I just absolutely loved it! Hope you guys are doing great! :)
Hey! Sorry just seeing your comment now! Thank you :) Yes, we packed a lot in and I miss CDMX! Hawaii looks stunning and pre-congrats on nearly 10k! Wow!

Wow I would go here for a whole day. The history degree I am taking at Liberty University had a half semester on pre-Columbian Mexico and the conquest by Spain. This place would make it live.
Eileen, what can I tell you that I haven't told you before, This is another great video. The way you show our Mexico trough your eyes is unic. By the way the creator of This amazing museum is "or was because he passed away" Arq. Pedro Ramirez Vazquez, one of the most important Architects from Mexico. He also designed the azteca stadium, the Basilica of our lady of Guadalupe and so many othes important buldings not only in México. Perhaps you could visit those places as well.
Hi Rubèn! Sorry, I'm way behind in replying to your comment! I'm so glad you enjoyed the video and I didn't know that about the architect. He obviously had amazing vision for his projects. I wish I'd been able to visit those place as well but didn't have time. So much to see! Hope you're doing well :)
Eileen Aldis. Hi, how is it going? it is nice to see you replying my comment, you are doing a great job in Colombia and hope soon Mark and you can return to Mexico to see others places you missed. By the way, next November is coming with the "Dia de los muertos" day of the dead, and it is really amazing celebration you cannot miss and one of the best places to do this is Patzcuaro Michoacan "Janitzio islan. Nice to here you again Eileen. :)
Descendants of the people who created Mexico's ancient civilizations are alive today, maintaining much traditional Native-American culture in various regions of the country. But, many foreign visitors to the country ignore those contemporary Native-Americans, focusing their attention exclusively on architecture and artifacts from the past. I like your video, Eileen. But, like many other visitors to Mexico's "National Museum of Anthropology" you apparently never made it upstairs to where about half of the Museum's displays are located. Those 2nd floor areas address Mexico's indigenous cultures as they continue to thrive today. Some of the upstairs exhibits contain interesting photos and text (usually in Spanish) along with fascinating video clips.
Hello Osvaldo, we use a bunch of different cameras which are listed in the description box. This video was shot with a mix of the Canon G7X, Canon 6D, and Sony FS700.
Well hello the reason i was asking cuz im a new youtuber and wanted to buy a realy nice Camera for my vlogs but also por takeing good pictures what Camara would you recomend im debateing if a should buy the SonyRx100 Mark 5 or the Sony A7R Mark 2..
Hi Osvaldo. Both are great cameras. The RX100 V is more of a vlog-style camera and the A7R ii is a mirrorless camera similar in style to a DSLR, which you'll have to attach lenses to. It really depends what you plan to do with the camera but from a price point, the RX100 V is much cheaper as I'm sure you know.
Well helllo Eillen Aldis good morning sorry i took so long to respond to you but i was in Reno,..Nevada,.. im just haveing a hard time chooseing but im waiting to see what new Sony Products that re about to come out any day now Sony RX100 Mark 6 and the new SonyA7R3 which one would you buy..

Hey Jose! Thanks for your very kind compliment! I'm so glad you enjoyed the videos :) What is blogger funny face? hahah 😂 Thanks again for watching and hope you enjoy the Colombia vlogs too :)
Really? My family in Mexico r scared to come to USA! They say ppl here kill kids in school for sport, and ppl in church and malls, everywhere! They say, and it's Tru, Mexico will at least, give you a map of the red zones, stay in green zones, ull be fine, it's like any other place, if you look for trouble, ull find it. In USA, it's just to random for them.
I already made some videos in Puerto Escondido. Here's the playlist, if you're interested: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-AiHaC20n0Y0.html

Te aclaro...no hubo arte, cultura o Imperio azteca...era MEXICA, los aztecas eran una tribu nómada Bárbara, se culturizaron y transformaron en MEXICAS...ya nada que ver con los aztecas
