No, that’s entirely up to you. However, I do recommend you choose a way and stick with it. One suggestion might be to point Male connectors “downstream”, or pointed at your combiner box. Consistency helps when it’s time for troubleshooting.
It's very important to identify your phasing and be consistent when applying an Enphase System to an AC-coupled Energy Storage system. Still, as Eric stated, it's up to you to create a phasing system that you will be consistent with.
@@miloinda Can you elaborate on this? I watched the Enphase video and it looks like the connector can be rotated 180 degrees and still connect. The Enphase video also does not discern between the red and black wire when putting the connector together. This leads me to believe that the wire colors do not matter.
I don’t, but you can probably order them from your local electrical supplier (not Home Depot or lowe’s, I mean an electrical distributor). When I made this video I was working for a solar company and using our job materials.
