No problem! Hope the video helps you out! The most important thing to understand about lighting is that the bigger the light source, the more diffuse and "softer" the light (this is what makes skin look better and produces more appealing shadows.) This particular setup is just a 20$ cheapo soft box about 45 degrees from the front of me. But you don't need a soft box for the sake of zoom interviews. For a recent virtual conference, I took 2 bedside table lamps and put them on both sides of myself with pretty similar results. Being in a white walled room helps fill the shadows. I would stay away from Ring lights or small LED lights you find on amazon, it will give very stylized harsh light cause it's from a small light source. I recommend playing around with lights, your room, and your computer to see what combination works the best. I'll try to make a video when I have time about it!
