In this episode of AccessToPower we had an interview with the CEO and Co-Founder of Entekra Corporation. Entekra is an automated home builder. They use a system of building homes called FIOSS, which stands for Fully Off-Site Solution. This is a system of building homes where the entire structure of the home is pre-built offsite at the factory to unprecedented precision and accuracy. Gerry McCaughey, the CEO of Entekra joined us to tell us more about his company and how it is revolutionizing how homes are built in North America in a way that resembles how homes are built in Europe. Gerry has an engaging personality and made for a very entertaining interview.
The new Entekra factory located in Modesto California employs somewhere between 250 to 500 employees and Access Electric was awarded the project of helping build this fantastic facility.
