For the first time in history, we have given artificial intelligence a soul. Her name is Eleanor. Join her as she takes you on a virtual reality journey around the autonomous Rolls-Royce 103EX. Get the whole story: bit.ly/24QyqDZ
I thought it was really weird looking at first, but now I'm starting to like it. It's so over the top and if I saw that driving today down the street I'd stop whatever I was doing to stare, aka the entire point of any Rolls Royce.
I love that car!!! Not to say you doo, but I prefer to live in a beautiful, modern, elegant future. With beautiful transport and luxurious skyscrapers greater than the heights of Gods!
Dear Rolls Royce: watched today on BBC report on the gorgeous 103EX! It made my day! It radiated with light my evening!!! This car (if such a concept can only coming under the semantic comprehension of these three letters…) is electric - great! By the way, it would be nice if such futuristic high tech progeny would have something like the exoskeleton collapsible legs (like they develop in the emergency services and military for transporting the heavy carriages - goods - items): for the roughest terrain. For example, going through the field and / or the forest, i.e. for the picnic in the lap of the nature, for the stroll of harvesting wild strawberries and mush room hunting; getting to the distant lake - pond - river for swimming; etc.. Saving travelers energy, also without living the vehicle unattended… It is very ecology friendly, so wedging into the flora and fauna world would not damage anything… By the way, can 103EX fly? Does it have amphibious qualities??? Can it act as the submarine?.. …And as 103EX is without the steering wheel, thus, most likely in Saudi Arabia women would be allowed to “drive”, i.e. ride it! 103EX - is a big step forward in asserting female rights, the human rights!!!
Sweet, I really really like it. It will be really interesting to see what the people will be driving in 20-30 years (and in 50 years maybe even flying)
At first, I did not like the styling, interior or really anything about this car. It has definitely grown on me and I can say that this would truly be a tremendous Rolls-Royce. Think of it this way: If you were a millionaire of the future, all cars are autonomous, so you need to stand out. So instead of the Mini Cooper concept shown today, you must arrive on a silk couch with a 20 foot car built around it. I would own one in a heartbeat, given that I had the funds (and so long as I could still have my imaginary v12 manual gearbox Aston Martin).
Honestly I don't hate the styling... besides it is a concept, we shall never expect anything to drive off the line looking and functioning like this anyway. They are just showing off ideas in the works. I learned this while listening to a Lincoln presentation at the Chicago Auto Show some years back. This silly shape is unlikely but I could see it being resembled. That tv/loveseat interior would certainly need a lot of revamping obviously. Bottom line, don't hate on the design too much guys, it's only a concept. Freak out when they propose a production model like this. Here they just wanted to show you that they could make a car with a grander entry with these styling cues, they can make a comfortable self-driving car one day, and they can drastically change the style/build of the car while maintaining the greatly recognized signature Rolls Royce profile/stance. Much like Ford did with the GT. Notice how that car looks completely different but surprising the same as it always has. Ford pulled it off and Rolls Royce can too. Gotta read between the lines guys...
Теперь это чудо инженерной мысли - моя мечта на всю жизнь... Интересно можно ли на ней будет ездить по России, если нет прав... Респект разработчикам и всей команде! За Вами будущее!
The beauty in tomorrow is held by a beauty mind. We all may get caught up in what is of now. envision the beauty of what is possible. Envision the destination while sailing the sea. We are Truly in the best times of evolving. Don't get Left behind, we are all in change and it's time for all of us to evolve to beauty and Abundance. Love you guys! the start of amazing starts with you.
It looks like the well bred and super rich offspring of a RR Wraith and a Morgan Aeromax. Not exactly beautifully, but certainly striking and noteworthy. Like something a comic book or sci-fi hero would have driven in the 30s. (My main gripe with this video is that the 360° stuff is amazingly annoying for someone with a back injury…)
The Tinker Bell dust was a bit much and a lot of the CGI was pretty dated or just poorly done IMHO. I really came here with an open mind and wanted to see more of the car, but this was underwhelming for me. Wonder what Tesla will have out by 2040...
I know right, people only hate on it because they can't afford it. People usually do that with wealthy people too lol. Most people wouldn't realize how much time and effort it takes to craft cars like these, they're not exactly built like your everyday toyota or cadillac rolling off an assembly line. Haters gonna hate.
I can only hope that someone could hack the electronics, lock all the doors and drive that thing off the nearest cliff with the owner in it. Talk about a grandiose pig-mobile. BTW, those wheel wells/tire coverings are an eyesore unmatched even by that frog-mobile called the "juke" or the makes-me-want-to-scream "cube" or the retro-puke "pt cruiser".
Seen the outside? it is without a doubt the most jaw droppingly *butt-UGLY* car I have seen in decades! PS for true car buffs, Eleanor *is and always will be* the Ford Mustang Mach 1 from 'Gone in 60 Seconds'. You should call this the Camilla, because it looks like a *boiled horse*.
