@@nickdelia3880 seen them twice back when this song was hot shit and honestly it depended on the venue, i seen them play a decent sized gig and they were okay, not overly energetic but certainly were enjoyable, but the best i seen them was play in a wee bar, packed, with people moshing, stagediving and half the band joining in too, that was a set to remember
Crazy to see how much people love this band now. You can find earlier videos of these guys performing their hearts out and the crowd just standing and watching them. Now everyone in the crowd knows every word to everyone of their songs.
Take to the skies came out in 2006, thats 8 years my man. Plus sorry youre not a winner goes back even further than that! But yeah, more than enough time to get your shit straight.
security: okay rou....rou we get it you said hi to the fans now back to the stage okay everyone move hes still going, just let him idgaf and hes getting closer rou please stahp youre in the band go be with your band
Yeah, they're a great band live but they always play this song sloppily (not always in the right tempo, failed transitions). Some things never change haha.
Doesnt matter when you're there, if you've ever been to a shikari concert youll know that you get lost in the atmosphere and sheer energy that they bring to the set.
Ciian Thornhiil I saw them live 5 times, have been disappointed every time with this song in particular. Don't get me wrong, they're an awesome live band and I loved every concert. But the changes in pace and overall feel of the song doesn't do it for me
dno about this switch up of sorry youre not tbh. fkn original original still gets me the album version is tidy though. original original is like the old hip hop cassette
Scratch card glory or waist low pleasure? Black eyes, nose bleeds, don't look back now My white abode, do you remember? My white abode, but it's such a thrill just to find out... Where the strings are taught between the tuners and the nut (think thats the right lingo) you can pluck or strum them and they make a veeery high noise - and with a lot of distortion and only plucking the higher two i think, you'll get that noise! its quite easy, but sounds great when used right!
Agustin Torres you know you may be right... sorry about that! i'm not too sure then! ... erm... hm!... gonna quickly see if i can replicate this with me guitar
George Bricher Hahaha, I don't have mine on me right now so i can't experiment and try that out myself. I know you're right about the strumming in between the nut and pegs cause MUSE's Matt Belamy does it in one of their songs and I've replicated it but it didnt look like that here
He usually does it by playing the bit between the end of the neck and the tuners, if you play it through an amp and hit them quite hard it should sound similar
yeah, maybe times have changed. I was last there in 2010: Blink, Paramore, Limp Bizkit, Weezer, Cyprus Hill; all pretty solid live acts. Yet the crowd was piss boring, and that was just the saturday. The average age was 16-18, the majority wearing Jack Wills hoodies and scared to get muddy. I've been to Download and TITP three times and five times respectively and i just think it's got nothing on them. The Line-up is consistently superb yet just doesnt have the crowd to match.
