Angela looks great, she must be doing something right, I'm glad she's doing well with her restaurant. As for Andre Morgan, as a Bruce Lee fan it's great having someone like him still around, still healthy & sharp, he's an insider about basically everything & everyone in the Hong Kong film industry in it's hey day, the 70s & 80s; I only wish Mr. Morgan would write a tell all book about his experiences, the people (like Bruce Lee & Jackie Chan) he knew, throughout his film career!
I am a massive Bruce Lee fan but also a big fan of the movies of Golden Harvest. Write that book Andre please. I want to hear all the behind the scene stories from all those GH classics.
Wow! This panel discussion is such a gift! I was a Bruce Lee fan when he was playing Kato (I'm 68) and was crushed when he died just before Enter the Dragon came out. I love that film and am thrilled that Angela Mao Ying was interviewed. She will be appearing at Chiller Theatre autograph convention in Parsippany, NJ this weekend (Oct 27 - 28). And while I am not able to attend, I now feel as if I was almost with her at this event. So many great questions and answers... but also a sad moment seeing her learn that Bob Wall had died. Sad that she found out in such a public space. I hope someone gave her a hug afterwards.
I just wish more people would ask about her story and her impact in the world of kung Fu films instead of always asking her about Bruce Lee, Bruce Lee was a legend and a pioneer in his time but I feel like these lesser known kung Fu stars like Angela Mao deserve more recognition as well because they too were pioneers in their own way, Angela paved the way for more women to appear in lead action roles and she was a real martial artist just like Bruce
People should pay attention in Big Boss when Bruce conveys such an amazing array of emotions, acting every one else off the screen, and I'm not talking about the fight scenes. The family interaction is great too.
TRIVIA : Bob walls claim that he has the record for being the only person who can lay claim for being the only person whoever worked in 3 Bruce Lee movies ! well that record was broke as soon as it came out ! as the actor Tony Liu was in all of the first 4 Bruce Lee movies !
My question to these wonderful people is , why and who got the man to play HAN , and also Mr Shiek Kien who played Han was in his 60s , Why couldn't the director or producer got someone younger to have that fight with Bruce Lee towards the end.
Mr Shek appeared in movies shortly after Bruce died, but he was moving much faster in them. I too thought that he was too sluggish in that fight. Don't understand why he was dumbed down.
