God damn, Gordon's actor is just... GORDON. Like holy crap, it's unreal. He looks just like him! He's gorgeous. Plus, it's amazing how much effort you guys put into this! The mini film was awesome to watch. The atmosphere was cryptic just as the game's and the actors actually resemble the personages. Gordon's voice is perfect also, if he ever happened to speak, that'd be the perfect voice for him. Awesome job!

I found the film so very very late and I am truly glad I found it today. This movie was epic and I am a very big fan of the game and I have very much enjoyed this. The actors and all the actions were truly epic. It felt like the game has been magically turned to real life mode. Nothing felt out of place. Absolutely nothing. I wish we can get to see more of this awesomeness. Great great work.

Great short. I really liked your more grim adaptation compared to other similar movies. I am looking forward to your future installments. A word of advice, try uploading your videos on your own channel rather than machinima. I assume you did that because you have a contract signed with them but with so much content uploaded daily on their channel, it's hard to gather a true view count that your creation rightfully deserves. Oh god my youtube didn't load the textures and props right! Now the whole video is checkered with black and purple and all the props are ERRORS! NOOOooo... :P

You guys should do a full-length fan film, like the people over at UAT did with that Mass Effect fan film (haven't seen it yet...comes out this Sunday, I think), and then show it on here. This was amazing, and I would like to watch more than 11 minutes. :) You can always ask Valve if you could do a kickstarter to handle the cost of making one.

Thank you guys for this amazing film! I am new to half-life but I have played the game through and also half-life 2. I just got black mesa half life remake mod and I am loving it. I may be new to half life but it is just awesome!

Dude with the crew, the equipment, permits for the cottage, then refreshments for all the crew, he ran really cheap. it usually would cause over 10k

Oh, and a follow up I forgot to mention. I have written something pretty extensive involving half life, but I don't think it would fit in your budget or concept for the freeman chronicles. It is a straight adaptation of the beginning of Half Life 1. I really will write something to submit to you guys, but the other thing I actually want to give to Valve. Would you happen to have any advice for that? And thanks again for replying.

its only a minor mistake but you used the h.e.v suit from half life 2 not half life 1, and the suit from half life 1 is easy to make you could have saved a lot of time and money. but no one really cares i know i don't lol

Definitely cheap for something of this quality. What you get for $200 is either two guys in someone's backyard (ie, see most videos on youtube by 13 year olds) or getting basically everything for free, which though they got a lot of stuff free they still had plenty they needed to pay but it made the video.
