Another tip for Lich's first phase: You can roll into a wall doing this gives the i-frames from a normal roll but it keeps you stationary so you don't need to worry about accidentally rolling into more bullets

also a pretty good tip is do a raindow run it's the eziest run to do if you know your items well

Alright cool, just lost my first attempt at defeating both Liches. Was about to have a nervous breakdown at the thought of having to fight 3 phases of that, but now that I know there's only one phase I'm feeling a lot more optimistic about my chances.

My first time fighting the lich and first time playing paradox I got gunslinger, very happy

for those of you heavily struggling on this, starting the paradox run on rainbow mode so you get a vast selection of items is really helpful. If you get an s tier gun (I got super lucky and got yari launcher) and blue scarf or holey grail, you'll have near infinite ammo, plus they aren't super hard to come by when you get a rainbow chest every floor. it took me about 25 seconds to beat the 2 liches. it does take some luck, but it makes it like twice as easy.

One of the best combos I discovered : Gungine (red colour tank with one of the fastest fire rate) Blank bullet (every bullet has chance to be blank) Admin ticket (summons the gating gull) Loadstone ammolet (stune enemy) Ancient hero's banada (x4 the ammo)

yea. when i tried to unlock this guy. the only weapon i got that was all that good was the flare gun. with the synergies its crazy powerful... but it also makes enemies randomly explode in massive explosions which can hurt you... that's where most of the damage i took came from. i died on the lich...

I killer the Lich for the first time, geez it was hard! It was my fourth attempt at the bossfight and I was completely astonished when I saw it had a third phase. But when I finally killed the Lich I was using Paradox. I got to play as the gunslinger without knowing anything about its past, all I allowed myself to search on the internet was the fiction of its passive item and the fact that after killing its past I would have unlocked him. I decided to clear the first floor and then going to sleep, it was late. Today I continued the gun slinger run, about an hour ago I defeated the double Lich. I feel so releaved now! It was like my best run of all times, a lot of good weapons thanks to the Lich's eye bullets, I got the master rounds of the first four chambers, found the black market and even got the seven leaf clover near the end. Now I can tell that the Fightsabre is my favorite boss killer (killed Dragun and Lich only with it) and that I unlocked the gunslinger when I had about 100 hours on the game (I haven't fought the resourceful rat once)

One more extra tip that you can do, It helped me beat the past first time. Practica the rat It It pretty easy with this Guy. The objects he gives you are pretty op. If you know the fight you can use the cheese to ignore all of his atacks I Hope It helps you ti beat it

Another thing that I personally recommend to beat the gunslinger past is to go on rainbowmode, you start your run with the Paradox on rainbowmode and if you beat the liche, you will start your run as Gunslinger with rainbowmode to. I know that this does not let get any other item or chest in the run, but if you know how to choose wisely your items from the rainbow chest you can become very OP. Another thing that I recommend if you do this is obviously trying to go to every secret floor (even to the rat), cause this means one more rainbow chest and so one more item for you. Hope this help someone.

I'm never going to forget when I got the gunslinger beat the dragun and forgot to get the bullet to actually fight the lich (I still don't have gunslinger)

Just make rainbow run with makeshift cannon and ancient hero's bandana. Profit.

Rainbow run, get green clone item for extra life, here's the thing; all your items will stack when you die giving you a fresh run with tons of the best weapons and life. Now it's easy

Imagine u have a gun that can reflect all the bullets for nearly 2 sec

If anyone is still trying to unlock him, highly advise that you do it on a rainbow run, you get stuff like yari launcher, black hole gun and clone that can make unlocking him a walk in the park

Man i swear everytime i go with the paradox i get super op guns that shredds bosses, but when i use the gunslinger i get the worst weapons in the game (in one of my runs the best weapon i had against both liches was the blunderbuss) 😢

Step 1: Go Rainbow Mode Step 2: Insta pick up black hole gun Step 3: Beat both liches in 5 bullets Also if you're actually doing this, try visit all 10 floors for 10 items. Even if that is too tough for you, at least go for as many as possible! Alternatively, pick up AWP or Sniper Rifle and make use of a 360 Yes Scope synergy to take them down in like 10 hits flat. Not even kidding, black hole gun is so broken that you need 0, count it, 0 skill. Black hole gun + Adventurer's Bandana and you can use it as a main weapon on every room of every floor..... Click once and you could leave to go get something to eat and the room will be cleared before you get back

I have beten the dragon as the gunslinger twice now and each time have forgotten to get the bullet that kills the past. Feel bad man

I just lost my attempt due to my makeshift cannon dissappearing on 5th floor boss. Had relodestone too. Didn't even know there's a bug like this. Fml

I didn't realize that the gunslingers past was only the first phase of the lich so I had makeshift Cannon and was gonna save that for a later phase of the lich, but ended up dying

I managed to stack spice with other damage increasing perks and murdered both the liches in under 10 seconds

A good tip is to unlock clone first then do rainbow run so you get a second chance with the same guns

I was just doing the gunslingers past fighting the liches, and I think I killed one and I got sent back to the start of bullet hell with all of the rooms refilled and unable to teleport back to the boss room. I died trying to get back :( idk why it happened, has it happened to anyone else?

I guess I got really lucky because I unlocked the gunslinger only beating the lich 3 times and only had 3 blanks

I beat the lich cause I was lucky and got the disintegrator which melted him... it also charmed a jammed tomb stone who proceded to kill him when I ran out of ammo on the disintegrator

I just unlocked him today after several failed attempts, I cannot tell you how loud I screamed when I unlocked him Still haven't killed his past yet*

All you need is the super hot watch in a rainbow run and you can win the game with just your starting gun. Literally broke the game

I didn't know that D-pad gived you a chest until i played a one run and I was about to be out of ammo and I accidentally cheked the chest with the D-pad and it dropped a black chest and I was like where this blacl chest came from then I opened etg wiki and i was like ooooh nice

How can you get more blanks in bullet hell than normal? I usually end up with only a few since you don't pick that many up most of the time.

I found doing it on a rainbow run to be easier

just got to the dragun only have b and c class weapons I hate how you have to do 2 runs in a row because you can just lose from bad rng

when i did the fight i didnt even realize there was a 2nd lich because they were so well synced, noticed when they finally de synced and i was at 2 HP. I managed the clutch the win, but it was tough

Soooo lol I did rainbow mode with Gunslinger to unlock him. After paradox it started with Gunslinger having no starting weapon, he had ZERO weapon :p lol then I ran out of ammo on second level and game crashed trying to get to starter gun. Anyone know this problem?

I beat the gunslingers past but he didn’t show up in the breach. I’m sure I fought the double Lich because I got the end card of the gunslingers past but he still isn’t there. I also had 100 credits so this can’t be the credit problem. Please someone help.

I've unlocked him 8 times and have never killed the litch FUCK RAINBOW RUNS

You know, i thought this was going to be a fair challenge, kill lich with paradox. Easy. THEN i realised that on every first run you do as the gun slinger you are given the makarov, the cosmonauts starter. Why. *WHY?* HE'S UNUSED GODDAMMIT! IF YOU KNEW THIS WAS GONNA HAPPEN, DONT GIVE ME THE STARTER OF A U N U S E D CHARACTER! So i died because i didnt get enough ammo drops and good weapons (died to ammoconda the shmuck) and said "screw it, ill see if mod the gungeon works" and it did. So to save 1000 hours of my time and sanity, id just shortcut the fifth floor, makeshift cannon dragun, give myself a map for bullet hell, and then makeshift cannoned the lich. Screw this quest. Screw that jammed lich. I am NEVER doing this again, if not for dumb luck (yari launcher ancient heros bandana stupid op) i would not have beaten that. Please dodge roll, change this, its garbage, unfair and not fun.

8:00 this game is beautiful i am legit tearing up watching how cool this is and the ost for this fight is so awesome as well
