I am looking forward to get my hands on this Labyrinth. The main and important disadvantage of these types of introductory videos is that there are so many instruments and sounds to see and hear that you cannot distinguish the instrument that is ultimately important from the rest.
@@renhoek3851 No it would not be the exact same desighn, and all the gear they copy is old or contain parts and electrical components and functions that cant be copyright protected.
I don't know that I will ever be in the market for a Moog synth. Tiny apartment and zero talent, but I LOVE watching talented people do amazing creative things with this awesome hardware!
Those are the kind of products and artist features that would make me feel good about Moog after the InMusic acquisition, Antenes is def my Favorite Artist Feature! Just one little suggestion: bring in some younger experimental artists doing similar Music but with a more modern twist It'll help get the younger crowd more engaged with the Moog legacy!
If they had done that they wouldn't have been bought out. Blows my mind that they had the keys to the castle but burned it to the ground because they couldn't make a proper product range.

To many people talking about quality who aren’t Manufacturing Engineers! Its been confirmed that Moog hold the designs. The specs, the processes to not only manufacture the components, but also assemble & test those components. Once a batch is complete! There will be a First article Inspection report (FAIR) or something similar. Which will be signed off by delegated personnel at Moog ensuring all the above has been completed to the required standards. There is no loss in quality unless Moog require the quality standards to be relaxed.
You should reduce the price seeing that all your manufacturing has moved to China. I was willing to pay those prices when your stuff was made in America but now I’m not sure. I worry that the quality is not as good, because this is what always happens when production goes over seas.
They're made in Taiwan. Where was the device you typed this comment with made? F*ck Moog for trying to stay alive though. If it ain't being hand whittled in a forest in North Carolina by a bearded gender neutral wizard then it's not worth it I guess.
So far the build quality is the same as the old stuff. I have the Spectravox and this but not used it yet. Maybe wait and see if that actually happens before assuming it has. If it does go down hill then we'll complain
@@custardgannet Build quality is not the only issue. These are being built at significantly less cost now; that should translate to a savings for the customer.
OK, I bought one. It's a strange machine, but it certainly has it sweet spots. One MAJOR downside; it's almost impossible to tune OSC 1 to 440hz. The range on the knob is way too broad, an OSC finetune knob is missing. I hope this can be more easily achieved with a software update? 2nd thing: the most interesting controls (like corrupt, vca decay) have these little pots. That's a bummer.
