Something that I found that works similar to this is a slight movement. For example, I used to tighten my fist when I played and it brought me back to game each time. Thanks for the video.

For sure. Translating your energy and emotions into physical action is a classic way to enter the zone. Simon DeepGame

Your advice made me realize what really matters. It already has leveled up my game, much more than anything else. Technique is important, of course, but when I’ve tried what you teach for once, it has had a tremendous effect on me. Thank you!

Starting to watch ur vids now since i realized ever since actually started overthinking about the game in matches my game performance got alot worse. I been doing stuff by instincts and just enjoying the game a year ago and was playing good. Ur 2 latest videos helped me out so much already. I’ll definitely be watching and implementing stuff on your other videos 👍

Hey coach just want to ask question about your opinion. What do you think about being a point guard, I have teammates who are in the same position as me as a point guard. In essence, he said that you have to think a lot, you have to know what kind of character someone is, etc. What should I do so that I don't overthink as a point guard. Because the point guard is the leader in the field. So far I've only followed my instincts to play as a point guard and I think it worked but my coaches and teammates didn't see that and seemed to have to keep thinking 1 step 2 steps ahead. And they see me as someone who looks stupid. Thankyou coach 🙏
@DeepGameBasketball
@DeepGameBasketball Год назад
Hi Yohanes, seeing the game steps ahead of others in a matter of intuition and reaction, rather than logical thinking. Logical thinking is simply too slow, so when we're constantly thinking through everything we do out there, we end up steps behind -- as you've probably experienced. I think this episode may help you out: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--vljvtmorA0.html Just remember to use your actual in-game results as the true test for what works and what doesn't. In your experience, does overthinking during games help you play better and see 1-2 steps ahead? Or do you perform better when you're just out there having fun, playing on instinct? Listen to your direct experience, before you listen to others. If what they are telling you doesn't prove to be true in your experience, then it isn't true.

@@DeepGameBasketball yes coach, i feel like playing with instict works a lot better from my experience and i am enjoying the game a lot more better. And talking about enjoying the game, in my team a lot of them really took iy seriously and really want to look for perfectionists in finding the flow of the game. And when you make a mistake, someone will be scolded. What should I possibly do so that I can still enjoy the game, both in practice and matches because actually I have played in a professional league. But i have a little bit of minute play. Thats a last question thamkyou coach 🙏
@DeepGameBasketball
@DeepGameBasketball Год назад
@@yohanesaristarkhus4291 When you get scolded, what else can you do but move on? Take it in stride; it's part of the game, and a part of life. It feels pretty bad, but that will only last a few seconds or minutes at most as you're busy playing the game, and that energy will work to propel your performance more in that moment. Simon DeepGame

Hey bro lovoing the content! Your videos have personally helped me and my friend win a championship at a tournament! With that, I'm planning to create a channel that will also tackle basketball for the mind. I will not be copying your laws but there will be some that are heavily inspired by them since it's been REALLY helpful and I want to spread the message even more. I also plan on making a course in the future. Just wanted to ask if it's okay to continue with this! I'm really passionate about Deep Game and would love to grow my own business using my own experiences and takes.

Hey, no problem with me as long as DeepGame isn't being plagiarized. I'm happy to see more players getting access to help with the mind. My only advice is to make sure you're creating original material that comes from you, with your own unique thoughts and frameworks.

There's no need to diminish Jeremy Lin's achievement by comparing it to MJ's. Who says Lin didn't access Flow consciously and intentionally?
@DeepGameBasketball
@DeepGameBasketball 9 месяцев назад
Of course, we don't mean to diminish Jeremy's achievement. That's a good call, and perhaps we could better word our teachings in the future. We give it as an example due to the scope of time between the two; that time span with the Knicks is likely Jeremy's longest stretch of being in that zone, while it can be argued that MJ's time in the zone extends throughout most, if not all, his entire career. That is the level of difference we are trying to demonstrate is possible with concentrated, effortful practice on developing the mind. Thank you again for the feedback - Simon, Team DeepGame
