Hey Rob, thanks a lot for all of this awesome content and your time put into it. I'm not coming with an engineer background, so sorry if the next question is dumb or out of context, I'm just curious in one thing: you explained the proper topology setup for the VXLAN (to have a Border Gateway connected to the Spine). Now regarding the HQ Data Center segment, is it possible or would it make sense to configure N9k9, that is acting as the Spine, to also act as the Border Gateway for that segment?

You could technically, but that puts the spine in the data plane. However, it likely would have taken care of the forwarding issues I walked you through.
